Back to the hospital this morning for some post-op fun. Getting surgical staples removed. 

This will make the remaining weeks of recovery much less bothersome and I may be able to sit in a chair again and work on some airports. 

Mischief managed. Home from hospital. Everything went well

Surgery tomorrow.  Today is getting prepared for travel, so have entered the communication blackout zone. If reentry is successful should be able to signal by Tuesday.

Public announcement: I may or may not be around much this January.  I am getting ready for surgery on the 23rd to remove some cancer. The prognosis for success is quite good and I am generally optimistic about the outcome. I'm told to expect  a recovery period of 3-4 weeks afterwards.
