Ok. Then try this. Inside the configuration file "Fulcrum_Cockpit.cfg" put 2 forward slashes in front of the module for the lifting surface as in this example. //MODULE { name = ModuleLiftingSurface useInternalDragModel = False deflectionLiftCoeff = 1.0 dragAtMaxAoA = 0.1 dragAtMinAoA = 0.03 } That will cause the configuration to ignore that module and not treat it as a lifting surface. if that is not enough then also put 2 forward slashes in font of the DragCube, so that the game recalulates it purely on shape. Like this. // DRAG_CUBE { cube = Default,4.832,0.540975,1.345,4.832,0.5397,1.345,1.523,0.15675,5.796,1.523,0.6093,4.822,6.901,0.693675,0.5487,6.901,0.558825,1.204, 0,0.6558,-0.354, 2.5,5.712,1.304 } Don't delete anything ,just the 2 forward slashes so that those parts are ignored. and then save and close. Good luck.

Assuming it is a PC. Then if you can identify a pattern, you may be able to isolate which component is having the problem and not scrap the entire thing. Do you clean it of dust regularly? Have you checked that it is being cooled properly and not overheating and degrading performance. Have you got Hardware monitor or Speccy to give you an idea as to what is going on in the background etc? Assuming it is a PC. Banned because I didn't say I hated them, just that he made me think of them.

@boriz Try this. https://github.com/ensou04/RocketSoundEnhancement/releases

Is it just KSP or are your other programs also affected?
-
Have you fully read the first posts in this thread, made sure you have the latest version that patched the problem with 1.12.x onwards and made sure you have the dependency "CustomPreLaunchChecks" installed? You also didn't say what version of KSP you are using.

Sorry, but that is our Soy Bean equivalent. Guarenteed just as awful. Customer: Spaggetti and Meatballs please.

Granted: You find the old level I once created, decades a go, where Duke fights on the Star Ship Enterprise while it is attacking a Klingon warship, and somehow it works in KSP. I wish it wasn't lost in the past somewhere.

Whiplash-pre engine cooler(1 or 2?)
ColdJ replied to JetGoFast's topic in KSP1 Gameplay Questions and Tutorials
@JetGoFast Hi there. Good thrust to weight ratio with minimal parts and a simple design can give you the best results. Is 1,523 metres a second fast enough for you? Try making this, it is very simple. It is built for speed not for landing, The cockpit survived and the pilot walked away from it. The shock cone actually has less resistance than a nose cone, 1 nacelle, 1 precooler, a whiplash and the smallest canards times 4. -
The why of your username or pfp in the forums
ColdJ replied to Kapitalizing Every Word's topic in The Lounge
My username is from when I was in the RED PLANET RACING league. A lot of you are probably too young to remember it existed. There was a number of places that existed that had many fully interactive games. (I think it was called Virtual World) And RED Planet Racing was one of them (It was meant to be a place holder until Battlemech arrived, but that took a long time and it was very popular.) Blue Lightning was my colour scheme, A deep metalic blue and vivid yellow. You played in races or team games, racing hovercraft through mining facilities. You were in pods with multiple screens, full controls like in a helicopter and you could reprogram all the controls to your prefered set up. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/BattleTech_Centers My PFP comes from the Fallout world where I lived for so long that the boy became a man and grew a long beard. Variations from then on are because I adapt and like a change every now and then. -
