  1. lift (launch) default settings? I changed settings to get off Minimums, now I can't get a good launch from KSC. Anyone know the default settings for Lift? For that matter, anyone know good settings for each planet/moon?
  2. Well, do you have tutorials? Even "Limit acceleration to [m/s²]" (like in early MechJeb) is added, that would help.
  3. Any plains for Max-Q? I know MechJeb had problems with neg-Max-Q, made for fun landing in atmosphere, but I still think it would be a worthwhile add.
  4. I'm old enough to have watched the Apollo landings, I have nothing but problems In the mod, not yet, but I don't get a lot of play time
  5. I'd be willing to donate to get an update to 1.12.5 I've seen a system where you can Vote With Your Wallet, author sets a "price" to update and/or make-a-thing. When the goal is met, it gets the love. This system assumes you'll know how much work is needed, and you know what your time is worth.
  6. I'm not saying it would not, but they cost $200-$500. And I'm not sure they're 6 axis, I could be wrong. Last time I looked it up, video editing was the only 6 axis I could find.
  7. I don't know all of the specs yet, but one of us should be able to get this working like the one from NASA https://www.instructables.com/Space-Mushroom-Full-6-DOFs-Controller-for-CAD-Appl/?utm_source=newsletter&utm_medium=email
  8. Do you have .CRAFT files? I'm not seeing how some of this fits together.
  9. Has anyone come up with a fix for "landing predictions" and "show trajectory" not showing, or the cursor for pick a landing spot? I know that I'm not the only one, but I don't have time to read 163 pages. Can't find any answers with Google, other than read this forum.
  10. But that one answer just cut my "hunt & peck" time in half. I know there's all sorts of fun to have with multiple-assist trajectories, and the difference of >0.01m/s can mean success or fail. (and don't use RCS) See xkcd #1356 Thanks for the link*. I've been brute forcing KSP for 9ish years, now that I'm "retired" I'm going to do a lot more of fine tune stuff. May your god go with you, WACCo *Oh, look, a rabbit hole!
  11. Brother, don't I know it. At least I'm not trying to get an answer to the 3 body problem Thank you for taking the time to spell it out in more technical terms. I knew I had to spend the ∆v, for inclination, early so I can get into the correct plain of destination. I'm trying to do the KEKKJ shot that Matt Lowne talks about.
  12. I knew they could not landed, but I thought in free fall it was unlimited. Trust me, I was quite surprised by it too. But the ship would often blow up also. I found that out, went back and added a few ladders. Had fun "walking" two of them down the BIG ship.
  13. I sent a large ship to Eve, but forgot to add any coms*. "That's OK, just send up a small ship with antennas, Bill can fix it!" Hooo Boy, was I wrong. First time using that function. I came across two problems, in space, that I just don't understand: 1) Pull a part off small ship, add to big ship. Bill goes flying off at up to 24 m/s (or the whole ship blows up). 2) Finally going home. Run out of go juice for main engine. "That's OK, I have two ion engines, Bill can just pull off the Atomic Rocket Motor and save some weight" Ummm...He can't pull the engine? I don't know half of the terms for this, so I can't search for it. Anyone know what's going on? May your god go with you, W.A.C.Co. *forgot to make a save and had PC crash, can't just restart
  14. To paraphrase, in front of body slow down, behind body speed up? Sorry, this works for moons also. May your god go with you. W.A.C.Co P.S. Sorry it took me a bit to get back here, Real Life SUX. And I'm in the middle of a different mission. to Eve. Forgot to add coms, and getting a resupply ship to it has been FUN. See
  15. I've been having trouble rapping my head around slingshot maneuvers. Enter Sphere of Influence (SoI) and exit SoI with changed velocity. It basically breaks down to four maneuvers. A and B are from a higher (faster) orbit, C and D are from a lower (slower) orbit. A and C are leading the object, B and D are trailing. There are some hints in https://wiki.kerbalspaceprogram.com/wiki/Tutorial:_Gravity_Assist It shows C and D. but what about A and B? Which ones will increase my exit velocity? C Which ones will decrease my exit velocity? D
