Hi there, updates on the mini station,
It is doing very well and we might even design a launcher for it (Launcher X)
It should be able to get to duna, barely, and if we can design an autonomous lander along with it with drills, using our patented "rock go liquid" technique, we can make it so that the station could go to duna, alone, and once you are ready, we can launch a crew towards duna,

also we have a prototype rover that works on not only the mun and eve (sunlight), but maybe even duna.

    We are go for duna.

nice! by any chance can we borrow the design for our launcher of the mini station, and dare i say the duna rovers, and... "station x"?
also we are willing to let @Kerbalsaurus borrow our patented "rock go liquid" (in testing), for the mun, minmus, duna and eve.

also we discovered a new planet...
we dont know how big it is or where yet but we see shadows

The shadows can help us triangulate where it is, and we suspect its between jool and duna, but it might be an round asteroid

Well it should be able to launch station modules with ease, but it's up to @Kerbalsaurus to decide.

  2. Update on RBS Development:

The Prototype RBS has successfully been shipped to the KSC! Although the cargo jet ran off the side of the runway, the RBS is unscathed! Hopefully, this prototype will stand up to whatever rigorous testing the R&D throws at it. (oh, and remember that the fins are being delivered separately) Anyways, we are working on some interesting orbital vehicle in our HQ's basement. It should be ready to fly in... err I don't know.

    Spoiler

I would hope for the likes of this (by function) to have a name that sounds like Single File, Single Mode, Serial Bus. I'm quite confident there's a serious misnomer moment here.

A true "multi(parallel)converter" module would be, for example, a thing that allows you to activate multiples of a choice converter on the same part. Assuming the stock 2.5m refinery allows for 3 modules to run at once (per its radiator demands) I'd like the ability to run 2x or 3x LFO if I wanted to.

The reason for the name is that I was planning to use it to combine functions of various similar looking modules together into one part, creating a multi converter. But SingleConverter would be a better name.

next is Kojave right? and it be "fun" for cross oceans.
    Bon voyage!

    Right on!

There it is! Kojave Sands is like the cooler Desert Launch Site.

Jeb will get the great opportunity to watch a second sunset!

Landed again! Sadly, this is the last time the "Phoenix" will used as its range is simply not enough to reach the next airfield.\

Leg 8 Desert Airfield -> South Field

    gATQUWI.png

After shoving the "Phoenix" into a hangar, the Desert Airfield engineers bring out a OneOscar FGCXL "Silver" extra-long range variant. It's fast, unstable, and dangerous to fly, but it has an unbeatable range.

Takeoff was a little dicey as the "Silver" nearly tips over on rotate. The OneOscar approaches the coast of the southern sea.

Jeb is feeling really chilly and he's happy he brought a space suit now.

Jeb's just passed the peninsula and now the true test of the OneOscar begins.

Land ho! South field is in view. It looks strikingly similar to the Island Airfield.

Leg 9: South Field -> Kermundsen Base

Luckily for Jeb, the engineers get the OneOscar fixed up by morning just in time to see the sunrise.

Jeb heads south. He needs to pass over the south pole to refuel at the South Pole Base to keep moving.
