  1. The idea of doing an ad from the moon (for anything!) just made me sick to my stomach
  2. That makes me wonder if a black hole is, like, the final boss star system, and if there's a bespoke solution created for it to simulate GR effects. Oh man, this rampant and ungrounded speculation made me excited lmao
  3. I'm not sure it does, though. I was thinking that they were already stretching out what they had in the can since the pace has slowed down a bunch the last 6 or so months. I wondered if this meant they'd just continue to slow the pace until marketing ramps up (presumably) a few months before release.
  4. I had about 150 hours in ONI, and then stopped for about a year, and just came back to it again in the last couple weeks or so and sank another 50 hours into it. Anyway, yeah, it's OK
  5. This thread reminded me that I had a dream a few weeks ago where they announced that the release date would be pi day, March 14th. I woke up and was like "dang i wonder if thats true" and then remembered it was currently April. However, that's now a possible release date, so I'm calling it: March 14, 2023, and you can take that to the bank EDIT: I see that @Spaceman.Spiff has sussed out this correct date as well
  6. Just noticed that all the Developer Insight links appear to be broken now that the KSP site has been updated
  7. I Googled "PAW UI UX design" and can report that it apparently stands for Puppies At Work, so that clears that up! Edit: Also if I hover over PAW in your post or mine it says "part action window" in a tooltip, but I'm going to continue thinking it's about puppies
  8. I'm reading it as "they're currently doing KSP2, but might do spin-offs or even KSP3 later" The leak was still fake; here's the actual slide from the presentation deck:
  9. I don't mind waiting a little longer, but I'm definitely going to need some more frequent feature videos to keep me company until then!
  10. The last update we had from Intercept was that it'd be 2022, and nothing since then, from them or the publisher, has contradicted it, tho
  11. I will take this bet, because I have no idea what you're basing that prediction on
  12. Friday, you say? I hadn't noticed. No siree, not me. I certainly haven't been checking my watch every minute on the minute counting down the seconds, hoping for a morsel, a crumb, a few electronvolts's worth of KSP 2 news, nuh uh, definitely not I.
  13. The same reason we fake anything, Pinky: Internet clout and attention
  14. Boy howdy there's a lot of negativity in that post
  15. Wasn't your original post suggesting that they're about to announce the release date and, therefore, have up to a 7 month campaign?
  16. I don't think it's safe to assume anything like that quite yet. There are still 7 months left in 2022; plenty of time to stage a long campaign between announcement and release. Supposing they launch in November, I don't think they'd start feeling obligated to announce the release date until June or July
  17. lol I made that! Be sure to like and subscribe to all my banger tweets, like that one lmao
  18. Is it from a few years ago? If it's not using one of the new Apple RISC CPUs, could dual boot Windows on it
  19. Ok but why not just make "buying me a coffee" a prerequisite for owning a copy? oops we've invented commerce
  20. Until we move to a post-money society, people who make things need to eat and have a place to live. I'm assuming you have a job; why not work for free?
