  1. Most of KSP 2’S development cycle was working on everything but the core game itself. Leaving no time for reentry or a proper rendering engine or code optimization. In the original game files for 0.1.0 there were multiple leftovers from colonies showing that they were mostly complete. There were also leftovers from interstellar travel and small bits of multiplayer code. The early access release had to be put together with an unfinished base game in less than a year most likely underfunded. This is Take Two we are talking about. They are a not good company. So be Patient and wait. They already have a lot of work done on colonies, interstellar and multiplayer. The hardest hurdle for the development team will be finishing the base early access up to colonies.
  2. I wonder When will the developers will be able to share new information about there new celestial body terrain system and switching to HDRP that they talked about in a forum post? I personally think that the community would like like to know more about these as the will improve performance a lot when they are implemented.
  3. I have been playing the game when after moving the camera under the runway there are a lot of trees below it.
  4. I am glad that the ksp 2 team is committed to finishing the game. Developing a space simulator is hard. Creating a game with interstellar travel, colonies, and highly detailed planets is something else altogether. The game has a complexity scale unmatched by most other games. Early access is not supposed to represent the final version of the game. It is a preview to the public that helps them find the underlying issues and develop the game we want. Our negative feedback matters. I am confident that the game will be “playable” in the next months.
  5. my pc is prety crapy it only has 8 gigs of ram but it has run heavy ksp installs before. i know more mods make it crash faster with the current version. but with this mod it just crash when randomly loading a craft
  6. well for that does not seem like the case i am currently run this on light modded install with no part mods I have restock, waterfall, ksp community fixes, and mechjeb. and older versions of the mod with my old heavier ksp install that about 70 mods did not cuase the game to crash. i am pretty sure that the issue is on this mods side
  7. so will shanging the range without changing the range density make scatter more dense becuase it says it effects the amount of scatters in the range. also some of the large scatter have no collison
  8. Ok that will cool when it’s done. I am amazed how I get a good fps on my crap pc
  9. Are the textures 8k and in the future will we be able to use lower resolution textures?
  10. The game stutters a small for a few seconds but then I get a good 40fps with scatters on and collision on my ryzen 3 3200g igpu. The only issue is kerbals moving slowly. My settings are set to 0.5 percent of loading distance and density.
  11. my computer has igpu so in the future i would like to see more perfomance options. like only showing larger scatters. and lower resilotion scatters
  12. Here’s some ideas that would improve kerbals 1. A 4 kerbal pod that is similar to the orion capsule and other new capsules 2. Better eva science experiments. In the stock game science kits only have 1 eva experiment per planet. It would be nice to have more experiments that could be done. Maybe some science experiments would require more than one kerbal to perform 3. Animated interactions with other kerbals. Stuff like waving, High fives. stuff like that would make them feel more alive. 4. Eva following. Other Kerbals can follow you. There could be multiple modes like follow or follow right next to you 5. Better inventory. You could carry heavier stuff with more kerbals which would be useful in building bases and space stations Give me more ideas in the comments
  13. I think you’re right because it only crashes when I approach another vessel in Luna multiplayer when I have this mod installed. So I think Luna multiplayer has compatibility issues with this mod. Although older versions of this mod worked with the latest versions of Luna multiplayer
  14. game crashes when loading vessels this mod has a ram leaks acording to ksp comunity fixes i think thats what causes crashes when loading vessels
  15. that is some serius dedication i forget how to spell some words sometimes the stock texures and the scatter textures have the same folder name also do i need stock scatters on
  16. I wnat some working mods that use kerbal inventory system 1.12.3
