Something has Happened on Bop - A Rover Circumnavigation
Astroneer08 replied to Sp1f's topic in Mission Reports
Maybe you could try engines that forced the rover into the ground for maximum traction, maybe it could help climb cliffs. They'd have to be efficient though. -
This rocket is great for interplanetary beginners like me, I actually made it to Duna!

Reported Version: v0.1.3.2 (latest) | Mods: none | Can replicate without mods? Yes OS: Windows 11 | CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 6800H with Radeon Graphics. | GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 Ti Laptop | RAM: 40 GB The staging bar would constanly (after staging in orbit) say that my delta-v was 0 even though I hadn't even burned an engine or used the tanks. This was frustrating as this was my first inter-planetary rocket and due to the new "no fuel no maneuver" feature I couldn't get maneuver nodes to work.

I've been having this problem too. It would just flip over and over. -

Watch somebody do this and when the devs add interstellar update, a planet spawns on top of it!
-
I noticed that it was happening on previous flights too, but nothing happened.
-
Probably, I did hear something like a landing gear wheel on the runway during the whole flight It might not have been at what altitude I specified earlier too, because I remember that I was limited to 4x warp when it happened.
-
Ok so I just had to reset my PC due to a Windows glitch and it deleted my saves, along with any crafts I had made... So... the SSTO is deleted, sorry.
-
Sure! For the record, I just updated to 1.3.2, so it might not replicate correctly.

Reported Version: v0.1.3 | Mods: none | Can replicate without mods? Yes OS: Windows 11 | CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 6800H with Radeon Graphics. | GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 Ti Laptop | RAM: 40 GB I was flying an SSTO to LKO and it was taking a while, so I engaged Physwarp X4 and about 30 seconds later, the SSTO randomly exploded at about 90,000 meters altitude.

This is pretty straightforward: Land on a specific plane on v0.1.0.0. Primary: Go to Duna and Land. Stretch: Go to Eve and Land. Jeb: Go to Jool and land on Vall. Val: Go and land on Eeloo. Tim C: Pick any two planets that are past Duna distance wise (e.g. Vall, then Dres) and land on one, then land on the other. Mission Impossible: Tim C goal, but return to Kerbin. It'll be extremely difficult, but I think anybody can do it if they have patience. (and lots of quicksaves!)

Also I don't use steam Everybody who has problems seems to use steam

Me personally, I have been having fun with ksp2 because of the new graphics and sometimes it's a good laugh when the kraken awakens and wrecks my craft. I have completely forgotten about the roadmap, so I can happily deal with whatever without being like, oh no glitches ruin my craft the game is broken.

I feel like the ability to toggle whether or not you have flat or rounded wingtips would be great for recreations of stunt and World War planes. (Like the spitfire, that would be awesome!) You could just add a toggle switch on the parts manager in the VAB for implementation.

Top Gun Maverick Dark Star Experimental
Astroneer08 replied to Madishmike's topic in The KSP2 Spacecraft Exchange
Yeah, the vectors are my favorite engine too bc of the gimbal and raw power combined with fuel efficency. -

Does anyone know what time the update is coming? @Vanamondedo you know? -
I'm excited for the airbrakes and new engines.
