  1. I've been waiting to play the For Science update until parachutes are fixed. Clouds and colonies stuff is cool or whatever, but none of that matters if I can't rely on the parts of my ship to function, or the navigation UI to be there, or the camera to stay attached to my craft. I'm happy to see an update, but I think it's worth remembering that most players aren't here. The frequency of these posts doesn't matter to them. They only play the game. Often very briefly in the case of KSP2.
  2. I put about 40 of the RCS components that can fire in 4 directions on a ship with 16 of the capsule RCS tanks, and turning them on drops my frame-rate to 5 from my usual 20. I don't think this a crazy thing to do given the relative weakness of the available control mechanism for large ships in space. Not as high priority as the numerous game-breaking bugs obviously, but definitely a problem if you want to go somewhere further than the Mun.
  3. I also can't create a new campaign anymore, nothing happens when I hit the button. So, to recap : 1. I can't launch with the VAB launch button. 2. The only way I can launch doesn't have access to revert. 3. I cannot save on that campaign at all. 4. I cannot create a new campaign to get around any of this. This kills the game for me. I need these things to work around all the other bugs that are occurring constantly. Oh, and here's another thread about this to be merged:
  4. I had this issue today as well. As a workaround, I found that I could save my ship, go out to the KSC and directly select a launchpad and select the saved ship there and launch.
  5. Just hit this today. I thought I made a save orbiting Duna, but when I reloaded the game none of my saves from today are there. When I try to save now, it just doesn't. I still have my ship saves, which I made today, but my game progress won't save anymore. Very demoralizing. I spent hours lining up that Duna intercept, and now I don't get to land it.
  6. I had this happen to me, but it was with landing gear from a few stages back. Just one leg floating in space, drifting away, pops back on time warp and then starts drifting again, taking the camera with it. It also causes the trajectory in the map view to drift and be useless. I tried to keep going despite all this, but eventually I just exploded in empty space while not even applying thrust.
  7. I switched to a craft on the Mun from another craft which was recently ejected from being inside the Mun , and the whole KSP facility showed up there. I also can't get off the ground anymore, though I should be able to easily. My guess is the game has also switched me to Kerbin gravity.
  8. I just hit this one as well. Landed about 2 KM from a craft on the Mun for a rescue mission, but when I switch to that craft it is spinning wildly under the ground.
  9. The workaround did not work for me. When I separated my stages to not contain both engines and decouplers I still had a slightly different but equally annoying issue: my camera will now track ONLY the debris on that ship. Going out to the tracking station and reselecting the ship brought me back to here. Something intense seemed to be happening to Jeb in the portrait, but I have no way of seeing it.
  10. Same issue, sometimes when I stage my camera will track the center of the debris and the actual craft until I can't see anything. The orbit path in the map view also does nonsense things when the parts are moving in different directions. Thanks for the workaround, I'll try that.
  11. About half the time I launch a plane the camera controls are rotated 90 degrees ( it rotates as though a horizontal axis is the vertical axis) , and it's impossible to get the camera behind the plane with the sky at the top of the screen. Seems to happen about every other time, even with the same plane, and with multiple different planes using different cockpits. Specs: Windows 10, RTX 2060 super, Ryzen 7-3700X, Game version 0.1.0.0.20892
