I want a science fiction future where humans live all around the solar system... I just have difficulty imagining how this could be a thing. Startup period has money lit on fire to build the place. Then it becomes self-sufficient (somehow). Now what? Presumably they want something from Earth sometimes. Some nice wine, or frozen steaks, or whatever. Cool, they buy that... with what? They have their own economy/currency, what's the exchange rate unless there is actually trade? Why would anyone on Earth want Martian dollars, even a bank?
Someone needs to genetically engineer sandworms so the spice can flow.
If you acknowledge what we have right now. We literally have robots that are capable of doing all your chores, fighting . We have constructed a few billion dollar space station in LEO. We have sent probes near every planet. We have done a lot of things that we dreamt of in sci-fi movies back at the start of the space race. So its likely we will have stuff we say is fiction now.

Welcome onboard!
I would say what my Kerbals die to the most.. Is them sneaking on board highly experimental crafts (that usually have a probe core for testing phase) - I guess the little buggers do everything to be on the page of the Science Tabloid Media on Kerbin.
I would say that... But the truth is lazyness.. Me being to lazy to not drive my rover 40 m/s and hit a bump that yets it to its death... Me to lazy not to check if the kerbals were actually on the craft before de-orbiting it because I found out a part was put on backwards... Me to lazy to make sure the staging was correct.. etc. etc.
But.. I try to minimize casualties.. a lot of my crazier crafts are drones.. At least Kerbals are happy to give their life for progress. And according to the scientific method, closing development dead ends is still progress.
Outch... Imagine if there were a memorial with all the deaths you caused at KSC

Hi all,
When we first released the K.E.R.B. we talked a good deal about how it was to be an experimental project - wanting to iterate and improve the usefulness both to the internal team and to you all over time.
Being so focused on Colonies development, the team has decided to move K.E.R.B. reports, for now, to a monthly cadence instead of the biweekly you've been used to.
Post any release the K.E.R.B. has been incredibly useful for helping us identify top issues and steer our bug fixing priorities, while also communicating about those issues that mean so much to you all. We may return or change to a different cadence in the future, but this is what we believe is best for now.
The K.E.R.B. has acted as one source of truth for many of you and we know that this probably feels like us taking away another source of information about KSP2's future. As we move into Spring here in Seattle, we will be sharing more about Colonies' development progress, bugfixes, and potentially some other things you can look forward to.

Im really not hoping this is just them being lazy, and also pray that this will only speed up development and not hide the lack of it.

Hey @Little 908 ! Welcome to the forums.
I'm Kerbal Productions - someone who makes KSP cinematics once in a while (often before). Nice to see you here! I hope to see you more around! (p,s, visit the forum games!)Clydesdale SRB, the Vector, and the Mainsail! They're a must-have for me. The first two helps me in my first stages, EVEN IF THEY BRING MY PERIAPSIS FAR FROM 100KM! The Mainsail works great for second-stages. Really helps with orbit insertion and stuff.
Hello, I sometimes make ksp cinematics too!
P.S. you might have @ the wrong person

Do you have any control? Did you engage SAS?

I feel like Spacex always releases the on-board footage a month or two after launch.

Makes no sense. Really. Please send me the KSP.log - there's something else there, and I want to see what's happening.
What do I look for in the logs? The problem is that the procedural fairings don't open, and the procedural fairing bases part ui is also broken. (Im using RO btw if that makes a difference)

What else did you updated? The only changes on the latest release were some patches for Aircraft parts! I didn't touched anything else.
The latest TweakScale was also just a minor bug fix, that were affecting only a small number of users from KSPIE.
Additionally, there's no official support (yet) for Fairings on TweakScale (neither stock ones, what I have is still Experimental), so… Are you sure you are barking on the right tree?
I downgraded tweakscale companion and that fixed it, so Im not quite sure. However Im just going to keep it downgraded until its fixed

Hey uh I think the latest update broke something with procedural fairings, anybody else having this issue?

can we have like photo or video evidence?
nvm i missed the link

@Little 908, merged your bug report.
Maybe the thread should change to "Celestial bodies blocking sunlight during periods of direct sunlight" because many people would just read the first half and think its only a bug with jool.

Reported Version: v0.2.1 (latest) | Mods: none | Can replicate without mods? Yes
OS: Windows | CPU: Intel Core i5-10600K CPU @ 4.10GHz | GPU: RTX 3060 | RAM: 48GBSolar panels on Ike seem to be non-functioning. I was doing a mission to Ike, landed and saw my electricity go down rapidly, so I created a craft with a bunch of different solar panels on a sandbox save, and it had the same issue. So it seems that solar panels simply dont work while landed on Ike, probably a bug that was created recently. (Yes I checked with other command pods too)
Severity: Med (bug prevents player from landing on Ike)
Frequency: High (was able to reproduce this bug)

@The Aziz hey there, i noticed you often base your description on your title. Can i ask you to please repeat the title in the body of the report too? This is just incase your report gets merged into an existing report; that will remove the title and make it hard to know what your report is about.
Thanks for reporting bugs!
Wait you have editing powers? nice

Yeah would be a pretty cool discoverable, similar to the eagle lander on the mun in ksp1.

Thanks *insert name of mysterious person behind intercept games account*!
