  1. Isn't it a little early to worry/get angry about things that won't happen for a couple of years, assuming they happen at all?

Indeed, I like to keep an open mind about the future of KSP, as a long timer player here I keep reminding myself that the development is still not over (and hope that it will never be after the mythic 1.0). Good thing that there is a lot of possibilities with all the mods out there already.

  2. Don't wait for updates to play the game, play it to have fun, test stuff, download mods (if you're into it) and have fun. If an update comes in, get it and repeat. It really doesn't matter how long Squad takes to update their game, if you're having fun playing the game as is then the updates just feels like something that will increase your experience with the game and maybe add more fun.

  3. So after forgetting to put Bob inside the KRSS - Explorer I launched a Karbonite rocket to see how it worked. The engine has good thrust but really bad Isp. I barely made it to orbit with this thing.

It was really bad planning on my part and the ship didn't had enough fuel to fully rendez vous with the Explorer. So I decided to Eva Bob when I was at my closest point near the Explorer.

Now KRSS - Explorer is finally ready to depart with Jeb, Bill and Bob. First destination, Duna.

  4. Finally someone made an actual model for it, I have been using some kind of GN Drive (that I named KN Drive for kerbal sake) as an engine that consumes Baryonic Decay instead of generating it. I haven't made any mod(and plugin) about it because I use models from various mods together so it would be impossible for me to share because of licencing stuff. In my game it's a cheaty engine for fun.

I'm glad however that someone made a plugin. I will download this and try it out!

  5. So I de-orbited the KRSS - Explorer lander and landed nicely close to the launch pad.

I installed a couple of RTGs and batteries and changed some internal fuel tanks inside the B9 parts to make it more efficient and lighter. The next morning the lander was ready to launch again.

This might be my best looking lander that I have made in KSP.

After I made it to orbit, it rendez vous with the rest of the ship.

After the docking, Jeb take again the microphone for another speech but Bill stop him and ask.

    Jeb, where is bob?

Apparently, Bob stayed in the snackbar inside the KSC when the lander was in the VAB and didn't board it in time.

Next mission, get bob on the ship somehow and then the real mission of the KRSS - Explorer can begin, finally.

  6. Jeb took the microphone on the radio today and spoke some crazy speech, wonder where he got the idea.

"These are the voyages of the spaceship KRSS - Explorer. Its continuing mission, to explore strange new worlds, to seek out new places and build new stuff, to boldly go where no Kerbal has gone before."

Minutes later Bill figured out why they were experiencing power problems on the lander section. Looks like someone on VAB forgot to put batteries and or energy generation parts on the lander. Their mission now is to land back on KSC and install the missing parts. So much for adventure...

  7. While still testing my "almost" all in one ship(Not Yet Named), I decided to look at some new parts of the B9 mod and launched a simple space ship to Minmus and joined the "not yet named" ship in testing.

Love the new NASA warpship cockpit.

After some crew management the "Not Yet Named" ship descended to Minmus and landed (like a glove) on one of the ice lakes.

Billy-Bobmund Kerman happy to be the first (on this save) to step on Minmus and plant the flag.

I really should name this ship, I like its design.

Using spoiler so people can scroll down faster.

  8. Today I decided to make an "almost" all in one ship. I want it to be capable to be an SSTO from any planet/moon (except Eve, maybe in the future), be capable to land on any planets and moons and have enough space for at least 8 or more Kerbals. I have a design ready and is actually undergoing testing around Minmus at the moment.

The only problem I'm seeing at the moment with this ship is that it's too tall, I really don't like tall landers. Maybe I'm going to scrap this design and build something new.

  9. -snip-

Look at it... LOOK AT IT! Why don't the blocks line up! This is the worst game ever! Now I have to play the game while trying not to puke every time a launch this rocket.

On a serious note, it would be nice to see the textures match up a little better

Huh, now that I think of it, that is probably why I don't use those two kind of tanks together ever. Also I don't really like the fact that some tanks has some fuel pipes on it and doesn't look right when using above one another (of the same type). This also applies for textures that can not be repetitive by the way.

  10. Don't mind me, just flying around testing stuff. I'm trying to come with a design that I haven't done before with part of SP+ and other mods.

    screenshot2.png

It flew pretty well and I decided to park it in the hangar on the island.

After that I made a simple prop plane just for fun and turns out this thing doesn't want to land, it glides so much.

    screenshot6.png

I build another plane too after this but that is for tomorrow. :)

  11. Hey Guys, be more cordial with each other. You can have your own opinions, but stop with the convert some to your believes thing.

Here a remedy to who need it:

p.s: And remember, we are all watching!

Kids don't listen to him, don't do drugs!!!

About the regex wishlist, I find it interesting and it's pretty close to my own wishlist for KSP. I'm still not sure about having a bigger system though. Yes bigger Kerbin and all the other planets and moons can be fun but also quite challenging for some. I wish the system was bigger in scale because sometimes I find it so small and not challenging enough(coming from someone that played since 0.8). But every person is different and play the game differently.

I just hope SQUAD knows what they are doing for the future of KSP.

  12. I showed the game to two of my friends, one tried, the other just looked at it and dismissed. The one that tried only played for half an hour before giving up. Said it's too hard, don't like how the game is, doesn't really want to learn to play a game. Pity really. I love the game and still play it regularly since 0.8, but I guess KSP is not for everyone.
