  1. Post redirected to Gameplay Questions. I have not tried this contract yet, but is it possible it's picky about the kind of docking ring used?
  2. Threads merged to keep all the news and info in one spot.
  3. How's about we don't speculate about people's gruesome deaths and stuff? Somebody can make a thread if he reappears, but until then, let's move on, please.
  4. Can you post some pictures of your craft? Those are a great help in diagnosing problems. As for the stock designs that come with the game, they are not meant to be good ships, because the devs want you to build better ones of your own. The stock craft are mostly meant as examples of how aspects of the game work. Anyway, welcome to the forum.
  5. I don't know if there is one. Why don't you start one here? Welcome to the forum.
  6. Old old old thread. I don't think the rolling helmet is even in the game anymore. Closing the thread to avoid confusing people.
  7. What kind of parts do you have, or are you playing sandbox? If you have the claw on the rover, you can grab the stranded vessel and pump fuel into it by right-clicking on its tank, alt-right-clicking on the ship's tanks, and telling it to transfer fuel. But actually, it might be easier to just fly another ship there to give them a ride. Unless you land very nearby, driving across Mun in a rover always takes much longer than you think it will, and that's assuming you don't crash long the way.
  8. The stock craft that come with the game are not meant to be good ships. They are meant to give you ideas, so you can build your own, better ships.
  9. Interesting driver's seat arrangement.
  10. If you change the map setting to display debris pieces, you should be able to recover them with the button in the tracking center. (At least you could in previous versions. I haven't tried it in .90.) For debris in space, it's possible to grab the pieces with a claw and deorbit them, but of course it's a bit self-defeating economically to send a ship up to grab a debris part.
  11. I build mine to be able to de-orbit and recover them to recoup as much of their cost as possible. But I leave one in orbit around each world to perform "science from around X" contracts.
  12. This exchange of spacecraft has been moved to Spacecraft Exchange.
  13. Every bug report is essentially a suggestion that the bug be fixed. Since this is a known bug, let's please not add to forum load by bringing it up all over again in an additional sub-forum. This thread will be closed now.
  14. Yes, there are many unfinished and unpolished aspects to this unfinished, unpolished, work-in-progress game.
  15. Probably my most common is discovering that symmetry changed its setting sometime during construction, and I'm missing fuel lines or landing legs on one or more sides.
  16. It is not often that I meet a KSP forum member older than I am. Hello.
  17. I also don't do the math. I use trial and error. Welcome to the forum.
  18. Glad to have you join us, KerBlam.
  19. I find those missions, with limited parts, harder than space flight. Welcome to the forum.
  20. This affair about add-ons has been moved to Add-on Affairs.
