Fengist, you're overlooking that different companies are contracting you to perform jobs for them. The benefit to you is rep and funds. What the satellite (or whatever) does after you deliver it is up to the company that asked you to put it there. That isn't fully simulated currently and the companies don't do anything with them, but what do you care as long as you get the rep and funds?

Multiplayer is on the list of things not to suggest for several reasons, one of which is that they are already planning to implement it. Thank you for the suggestion, but they have their own plan already. Thread closed.

The purpose of this forum is to talk about space exploration, both in the game and in the real world. It is not to get into arguments with each other, post personal attacks and insults, and carry grudges from one thread to another. The previous thread on this subject had to be closed because it had degenerated to the point that people were talking about each other rather than the subject, but folks asked and asked us for another chance to discuss the subject, and we agreed, under the condition that it must stay civil.
