  1. The old FTL egg still works haha, and I've managed to also make it controllable.. But its just that the way you have to orientate your ship to go 'prograde' shifts, and you can't exactly tell where. I'll update the original post with the FTL Egg (Don't think I have a download link anywhere since that forum reset), and the new 'thing' in a moment, though it isn't as spectacular as that old hunk of struts.
  2. Yea I'll be uploading them sometime soon once I get some new designs Also broke 2700M/s in a new FTL car.. and it managed to attain orbit afterwards. Its kinda funny, I made one that when you hold the down arrow key, it accelerates at an insane rate, and when you hold up, it levitates upwards, and bounces every time off the ground. Could be a nice rover..

  4. Well okay, not exactly FTL, but it stems from the 'technology' that I managed to accelerate a strut craft to 500Km/s before leaving Kerbin's SOI without engines. I didn't expect this to happen. Yep, almost 1200m/s acheived at 40m. I have no idea how this even works, but my only guess is that the flaps clipped into the struts is providing some weird forces, as I've never seen a flap go that fast on its own.. Edit: Well I've now broken 2200m/s...

  7. I got my general rank within around the first month of release, and now I'm sitting at around general grade 4 if I remember correctly. Reach is my favorite for multiplayer, since I seem to be significantly better at it than other Halo games, usually earning more than 50% of my teams points every match
  8. My favorite craft... With the update of .21, it seems to act different from before. I was able to get up to about 144Km/s if I'm remembering that right, before leaving the Kerbin system, with Jeb experiencing 134.6 G's the entire way. I'll just add this in too.. I post this too much, but I love sharing it

  10. Haha, who needs a base lifter when you have kerbals? I'm surprised he could actually pull it, much less fly with it.
  11. Where are all these parts that I'm missing? The thread download seems to be missing parts, and I have to use the spaceport download to get a launchpad. Could somebody point me towards the most recent launchpad, containers etc. Anything would be helpful
  12. In my normal 0.21 save, I landed 48 kerbals in one craft on the Mun, then switched to a 'hardcore' save.. I have a single kerbal in orbit around the Mun in an EVA seat on a tower.
  13. In 0.21.1 it seems to act a bit differently, with some insane acceleration within the Kerbin system. I managed to get around 400Km/s before I even left it, with Jeb experiencing some 134.6 G's constantly He's even more of a super Kerbal than we ever imagined.
  14. I think if they can survive a fall from orbit whilst landing on their head, a little tap of a vehicle going 100m/s isn't going to kill them
  15. Ahh why not... It's not exactly an airplane (Could call it one maybe), but it follows all of the rules! Also a side-effect on the kerbals: I still don't think it counts though.. Hehe.
  16. I feel like my craft is not eligible for this.. A bit too good of a 'flyer' if you'll call it that.
  17. Overall decrease for me, and KSP had run perfectly fine before. Mainly the scene transitions, the space center, and I get a terrible lag going near any other body I haven't touched .21 since sometime after the release.
  18. Career mode and new bodies.. When you have to worry about costs and stuff, knowing how to calculate the orbits, Delta-v, among others things will have more purpose.
  19. Ahh, the last time I attempted a drop pod challenge, the thing turned into something that can't actually land on a planet, but instead takes off and is capable of interplanetary travel and uses no fuel.. Logic Well expect mine in a bit, I've got a few ideas floating around..
  20. Muahaha, wrote out an entire Mun mission, and it worked perfectly, with only a tiny bit of fuel to spare. 48 kerbals on the Mun with a single craft... No quicksaves
