Is there a build guide for the mir modules? Unless I’m missing something the wiki just lists the modules but not how to make them.

Not sure if it’ll help but the timeline of events for my issue and the issue solving are as follows: 1. Update Tweak Scale, parts of Tweak Scale Co, and KSPCF at the same time. Duplication and GCoD start. 2. Try installing Tweakscale beta frameworks and reverting KSPCF. Duplication and GCoD continue 3. Delete TSCo and reinstall it. Duplication and GCoD cease. 4. Update KSPCF. Duplication and GCoD still gone. I guess I do need to look into my logs and see which mods are having issues and look at cutting them out as that might be causing instabilities that lead to GCoD. -

So I ended up fixing whatever the issue was by completely deleting Tweakscale companion and re-installing the latest release and it fixed the issue. -
Well, whatever it was seems to have fixed itself after reinstalling the uberpack. Hopefully nothing in the future causes it to act up again.

So I reverted KSPCommunityFixes to previous version and installed the beta frameworks and was still having the duplicate icons issue(I think the issue actually got worse as modded icons started to duplicate too). However after deleting tweakscale companion and lshippartsrequried and installing the latest uber release(although now I guess I have to wait for the newer release haha) the duplicate icons seem to have gone away. Going to update KSP Community Fixes again and see if the issue stays fixed. The worst part of all this is it takes 10-15 minutes for KSP to start up, the joys of too many mods.

I have KIAS installed, I updated it at the same time that I updated Tweakscale, FS and PKMC. I also made sure to remove KIS prior to installation. Thank you for your help.

I updated KSP Community Fixes and tweak scale + companions around the same time. After the updates I've been getting duplicate toolbar icons. After updating newest tweakscale and companions I've started getting duplicate icons on my stock toolbar. The duplicates don't seem to work, besides the Kspedia one. I also updated Community Fixes around the same time, not sure if that could be the cause either. I did have the inclination set for 35, not sure why I ended up with a final inclination of 19. Previous launches had all had the proper inclination. I need to experiment and see where I went wrong. I also use MLP. Edit: I finally got it using a lofted trajectory, once my Apoapsis was 155 I cut the guidance and then burned Normal+ to bring the inclination inline. Finally I created a node at apoapsis and burned to hit the desired orbit before cutting the SRM. Tested it a couple more times to be sure.

@DaveyJ576 So I set PVG to 150, when my apoapsis hit 159 I cut the engine and ascent guidance and then used maneuver node planner to create a node at apoapsis for a new apoapsis of 934. Using whats left of the second stage and then the solid booster stage got me to an orbit of 1.1Mmx158km(with some fuel left in the SRM) which meets the demands of the contract. Unfortunately, my inclination was only 19%, and this was a test run using KRASH. Tomorrow I'm going to try fine tuning the apoapsis.

I’ll have to try this. The closest I got was using PVG to get to 165 periapsis, using a little bit of the second stage to get the desired inclination and start the final burn and then using the solid. My final orbit was 700kmx165km. The contract actually just requires an orbit greater than the minimum, doesn’t have to be exact.

I'm trying to launch the Vanguard 1 rocket for the History of Spaceflight contract. The contract needs me to launch the satellite to an orbit of 935km x 155km with an inclination between 31 and 37. However I'm struggling to get my rocket to these perimeters. Anyone have any advice? I'm using a 2.5x scale system and I have mechjeb to try and help with the launch.

I'm trying to get Mechjeb unlocked from the start but I can't seem to get it to work. I have a folder called MechJebUnlocked in gamedata, I tried editing the mechjeb patch included so the tech's appear later in the tree, but nothing seems to work.

Here's my log: https://www.dropbox.com/s/as4i0h447fzap7e/WOS.log?dl=0 Double checked all the parts to see which ones I'm having issues with: A2 Launching base and a-10 interstage frame and decoupler I believe are missing a textures(I'm not 100% sure if these are missing textures) Control Room for A4, Dual tank for A4, aerodynamic nose cap, wing/fin for the a4 are missing textures And the a6 swept wing has a misaligned texture(looks like the whole texture image file is being displayed improperly on the part. I have noticed, except for the first 2 all of the parts in question have color variants, so I'm thinking that's probably the issue. None of them seem to have tweakscale options.

So I installed the whole thing figuring I would just use Janitor's closet to get rid of whatever I didn't want. However, I was having texture issues on various parts. I doubled checked to see if there was any dependencies I was missing or any known mod incompatibilities and then deleted the mod when I saw there wasn't any. I have noticed Tweak scale makes certain parts bigger than they should be, so I'm wondering if that was possibly the issue. Once you release the new version I'll give it a try again.

What am I missing for completing the GIRD-9 mission in the soviet tree under the pocket pack? I've tried launching multiple rockets that meet the requirements, even tried naming a rocket Gird-9 to see if it fixed it. Edit: I can't try it with the Gird-9 because I just used the cheat engine to mark it as complete, but in the Ivanov launch I named my rocket Ivanov(TBD) and it seemed to work for that.- 267 replies
