Well, actually, the teacher is wrong about Newtonian physics. A Rcoket blast can indeed put a rocket into orbit, and Newton knew and noted that with sufficient speed, you could stay up in an orbit. Still fun. EDIT: Did not know this was a necro until it was too late. This was in the fan-works library. Sorry.

I love these. More please.

I noticed on Scott Manley's Asteroid Redirection stream, an EVA in the atmosphere produces a "Bailed Out" image on the portrait. SKip to 2:01:11 I wonder if this means KIA, and what happened to Jeb. Did he EVA, but the camera doesn't switch to the EVA, did he disappear? Does this bring him death, does this bring him to the Astronautical Complex again? Why am I asking you? Let's just wait for the update.

Final build thoughts
Whirligig Girl replied to Dimetime35c's topic in KSP1 Suggestions & Development Discussion
I think there will be a total re-model of the C7 parts, a stock shuttle will be totally possible with stock parts that is very accurate. This includes single Space Shuttle Main Engines from the 3 meter 4x cluster. Asteroid belt including C, D, and E size asteroids as well as celestial bodies ranging from half the size of Gilly to the size of Minmus, all of them resembling Tylo, Dres, and Mun. Diverse Kerbals, each looking different in some way from one another. Simple ISRU, not full-on resource mining. ISRU is too big a plan for manned spaceflight I feel it's important to be represented in the game some how. Lots of fluff here and there, like mission control screen replaces headcams for spaceprobes. Overhaul of the way science works. -
Kerbals can transfer eva fuel
Whirligig Girl replied to Tanner Rawlings's topic in KSP1 Suggestions & Development Discussion
EVA fuel is not limited still. All they did was make the EVA fuel a resource instead of a number. You can still get in the cockpit as many times as you want to refuel your Kerbals, but this feature will still be nice for when a Kerbal is out of fuel. -
It's not a bug with new features, but ever since 0.23 or 0.22 (not sure which), decouplers seem to randomly not work. Even if they are placed perfectly with no clipping, sometimes they just don't detach. Scott Manley seems to have this problem as well, and I saw it on the KSPTV marathon too. This is a bad enough bug to be considered "Game-Breaking" because this is a fault that can't be predicted and can not be fixed withut going back to the VAB and replacing the decoupler in the EXACT SAME WAY. That said, I wish this weren't a problem, I want ARM to be released just as soon as you do.

If you look closely, you can see more detail in the tanks. The tanks could use a bit more detail, I think, like rims around the top of the tank similar to both Jebedish Kerman and Rockomax parts. The adapter could use some texture details. Sure it's just a cone, but so are the other adapters, the command pods, and the nosecones, and they all have detail on them. I am overall happy with the new parts, but I wish they were 5 meter instead of 3 meter, as the command pod appears too large, and a stock Saturn V is still not possible with the new parts in propper scale. The new parts will allow an S-IVB, but not an S-II or S-IC. Maybe 0.25 will fix things up a bit. Also, because stockalike is whatever looks like stock parts, No matter what these are technically stockalike. I don't know what's up with the guy who says that the LES tower isn't stockalike, it looks amazing.

How to make Kerbals awesomer.

I did not draw those female Kerbals, Hayoo drew them. I take absolutely no credit for that piece of artwork. -

If they change the size of the head because of you, well... -
The new size 3 parts, being "sold" by Maxmaps and Yargnit as being "Absolutely Gigantic" are kind of puny. I was expecting 5 or even 6 meter Saturn V-ish parts, but they look more like the 3.75 meter KW Rocketry parts. I was kind of expecting something new. Perhaps, though, with the new size 3 parts, KW Rocketry will make 5 meter parts that suit the role I hoped they would play in the ARM update, without having to use NovaPunch and it's oversized bunch of parts. THis new diameter still does not allow a proper scale Saturn V or even really that great a SLS replica, as they are only 1.25 meters larger diameter than the command module size. I really was expecting something totally new, I am rather disappointed.
