Or with the sky crane you could just add landing legs on it so it lands and drops the rover off then you get to take off and crash the crane or you could then use it as a hub base for it?
-
dont mean to be dissapointing, but the N-1 will take up to 2 months, and the buron probably wont be until december
i just want to at least get the venera and soyuz out, and then work on other stuff
My I ask what stage the Venera and Soyuz are on?

This is simply amazing.
You should add the classic speech that's at the start of every Star Trek series
-
Do you mean moving the camera around?
If so you right click and move the mouse about or use the arrow keys
-
Wow that's amazing !
Also the whole community just realised to use wing parts to clean up their rockets :|
-
So basically by building my own rocket and launching it into space I can call myself a rocket scientist and space pilot?

Wesmark, Windows PC's only have basic compressed file support out of the box, you will need to download a program that can handle more files, 7zip, which I linked to above, can so so.
Also, no spammy capslock posts please
Also 7zip has better compression. I don't like WinRAR either so I use 7zip aswell

Thanks for the replies! My original plan was to have a seperate pack of all the solar panels, antennas, and other "stickupy thingies" (<-- name of pack?) o put wherever. I will try to scale everything so it is compatible with both stock and other parts from the pack.
It's official the separate pack of all solar panels and stuff is officially called "Stickupy Thingies"

Well I will be downloading the update soon.
Thanks BobCat been having fun with your mods

First thing I would do with that money is stick some of it in a brief case and go to a space agency and say " you get this for funding if you train me up and stick me in that and launch me into space " ....... THEN after that
1 - fund skylark ( think that's what it's called it's a company that's making STTO engines )
2 - buy a plot of land in the English country side as my own personal place
3 - buy second plot of land in the English country side and start building my space agency
4 - set up a company that makes and launches rocket then create a sister company that deals with everything sciency but the company will have a tourism side and commercial side but make it affordable for the average person " why go to Spain when you can go to space " and make the commercial side affordable so companies are not almost in liquidation after sending stuff up.
And then go from there.

My Mun lander is just a capsule with a small fuel tank ( not the 1x1 tank the 2x1 ) with a 909 engine also ladders, landing legs, ASAS and everything else you need and this gets me onto the Mun with half a tank of fuel and the rest gets me into areobrake of Kerbin

well, as you can see from the my pictures, not a single part of this pack is picture-perfect, so don't worry about it.
this is supposed to be soviet-like, which basically gets me out of making the model have a kerbillion polygons and making you game lag.
perfect parts are nice, but not the point of focus here.
MY opinion is that it is better to quickly get a working but not-so-nice model to use, and maybe in later updates I will make it more accurate.
I would like the community opinion on the above statement tho ^
I'm with you on this one.
I'm not fond of the high res models I like my mind to fill in the blanks.
Also a really nice model might stand out amongst stock parts

To solve this warp problem you simply press a button on screen that would be a 'ready' 'not ready' status so when both players are set as ready it then warps you both at the same warp speed or roughly inbetween if you both cant decide.

Welcome to the forums
You have the most original name I've ever seen all puns intended
-
If I can make a request, it's that I think it needs a special decoupler. It looks a little silly sitting on air with the standard one.
Beyond that, I don't have a lot of problems with it. I got it to the Mün with one SRB! lol
So have to try this
-
I've only got two
Orbitus - goes to orbit and back
Munitus - goes to Mun
I use 'us or 'itus to make it sound epic I suppose
-
Possibly by magic extendable struts that fall at a certain speed?
-
Banned for banning me for that the second time!
Banned for being endangered

That would be a great idea if I actually applied maths to KSP. But seriously, there are plenty of others (Scott Manley, et. al.) who have done that far more ably than I could. No, my particular talent is helping newcomers turn the corner on basic concepts. Where they go from that point is up to them. Still, whenever I find a way to simply explain something that appears complex, that's when I'm motivated to make a tutorial.
Sadly, interplanetary flight is hard, at least without highly technical tools or some automation.
Yeah fair enough I understand that.
Maybe making a simple tutorial video on making your first space plane? Because on the rocket side of things I think you've got everything apart from a Minmus landing and of course IP missions but as you stated doing it stock is hard.
I've been trying to make one for a few days but fail hard
I'm technically still a newcomer myself been playing less than a week now.

Here's a question does it include the sky crane?

I've been dreading looking at my own thread due to possible slate comments. But there are good comments here. I had a look at SpaceX and for a company that's been around since 2002 they seem to be doing really well. At first I had high hopes for virgin galactic until they released how much it will cost for a 6 min sub-orbital flight ( 200,000 dollars ).
But for entertainment like films, computer games etc most of the time they cost more to make than to launch a vehicle into space. But I think it may seem expensive because its coming straight out of government ( tax payers ) pockets and into a machine that its life span is roughly one mission. I guess this is why we need STTO vehicles but nothing would look as magnificent as a Rocket launching into space.

Why not make a series of videos based on applying maths to KSP ?
Like calculating delta-v etc

Mun is visible from the surface of Kerbin
