TouhouTorpedo, forget about the non-powered steering wheels for countersteering. It won't work.
I've placed two powered steering wheels at the back of the non-steering powered wheels and disabled the motor. It didn't matter which way i positioned the head light, the steering still went exactly the same way as the powered steering wheels in front.
For counter steering it is neccessary to invert the controls, in other words, "I" will set the direction of movement backward, "K" forward, "J" to the right and "L" to the left. In the CFG it says reverse isn't implemented yet but can i try it somehow anyway (f.e. by creating duplicates with different keybindings?)

The funniest thing is that the first thing I made with these wheels was a boat

I mostly run stock but at times I will stick in a Mod to see if I like it then if I do it stays if I don't then I delete it.
But I keep the mods in their folders and when I want to use one then I stick in the parts.
But I mainly use the Mods based on what might be stuck in and stuff for scientific missions like probes.
( I use Jeb 9000 to stick on the side of the rocket just for decoration )

Hi brooksy125, welcome to the community
The best place to start for all new pilots is here, with Pebble_gardens excellent tutorial, followed by this fantastic angle calculator for reaching the planets
Yeah I second this Pebble_gardens tutorials are what got me to the Mun and understanding various orbits etc.
also the quicksave and quick load buttons are your friend for when going out of Kerbin orbit.

Soviet rockets, like their warships and aircraft, were undeniably pretty.
I'm looking forward to this pack; I've always wanted to give my rockets a more East Bloc look.
I have to agree Russian Rockets stand out more to me where I can clearly identify what's what.
Also little fact - when the soviet turned into Russia and other countries Russia lost its independent access to space so rockets are built in Russia and then stuck on a train to Kazakhstan

I've learnt that I should lock stages because on my decent to Mun I accidently pressed space bar and ejected everything also learnt to stage things properly aswell ( radial tanks ejected, main engine ejected and capsule ejected )

Hmm... good food for thought. Re: the SRBs - I usually launch with a quad of them with my main engine lit as well. Best case I simply run it at near-idle throttle until the SRBs drop.
Yeah I use 6 big SRB's to get me to 10KM before my initial 45 degree turn along 90 degrees and I keep throttle at half way due to heat build up and by the time I'm sat on Mun I have half a tank ( small tank ) left with a 909 engine and that just about gets me to areobrake at Kerbins atmosphere .

Kudos to you !
This looks amazing. And I'm guessing the depot runs out of fuel then you launch another one up?

Reactors ARE popping up all over the world but most of them are for research to see if they could get a decent output for commercial use. And I know there's at least one here in England ( there's possibly others )
But at the moment I think there's still a stigma about nuclear technology due to Hiroshima and Nagasaki.
At the moment we need to do research while still making it safe because there's no point of cranking up the power ( this research style only works in KSP )

Well if you buy now it states that all updates etc are free
Basically like how Mojang AB deals with Minecraft
-
Ooh I'm going to see what I can muster up. Found a mod that when you press a button your view changes to the camera view so I'm going to travel around getting decent screen shots
-
Dishy I'm loving your ball probe at the moment I'm having fun of going into orbit and then making it fall to Kerbin at high speeds then switch to on board camera to see what it's like to fall from space.
And currently have one orbiting Kerbin to have a look at stuff that's far away ( it's strapped to the rocket with duct tape because its hard to orientate the probe without anything else attached )

I jumped in on this game without knowing anything but build your own rockets and go into space and I'm loving it so far considering its alpha.
What makes me laugh is that people are willingly to jump in on the minecraft train which does lag. But when it comes to a game about going into space in your own creations and at times it lags people go " nope it lags "

I've been having problems with MechJeb when I launch MechJeb destroys my rocket upon the first stage separation around 10,000M I've played around and launch after launch it rips it apart or destroys boosters.
When I have manual control my rocket is fine.
-
TouHou I've been having fun with your mod and coming up with strange useless vehicles
Actually one of my creations I've almost finished so ill post a picture of it when finished .

Welcome to the forums Deek hope you enjoy your stay
-
Reminds me of the trailer for the Apollo 18 film.
I just accidentally came by this video and I'm glad I did its brilliant.
-
Well at least we found Godzilla of rockets
-
On the note of sticking parachutes to Kerbonauts you can then recreate a cosmonaut re-entry that Yuri had to do
-
That story was simply amazing !
-
There's a guide that's pinned here's the video from it

You don't need to know the maths or know anything about rocket science.
Heck I got an E in maths and I made it to the Mun.
Anyway welcome to the forums!
-
I'm looking forward to this keep up the good work Mivanit!
-
Thanks for the advice guys !

>Aescwulf:
You need the MuMechLib.dll in your plugins folder, you don't have to copy the MechJeb parts.
>dishy:
Upload it on Kerbal.net or Xenolith.ws, becoming mod of the month and getting 15$ on Xenolith is easy enough:cool: Own experience:sticktongue:
Thanks for answering
