  1. I did! Well, mostly... There were some changes to the code between 0.20 and 0.21 that make it behave a little more like the new system, but it generally acts the same.
  2. Try this one: "Far Away (Add Up Remix)" is also a good one, but for some reason the audio on every version of the song (except my copy) seems to have broken for me... anyway, hopefully it works for you. Another one: This one has a lot of bass, but I think it's closer to what you're looking for:
  3. A Keo-synchronous space station would be good for things like RemoteTech, but I've been building my space stations at around 90km since I'm now confident enough to do a launch straight to rendezvous (got within 200m in under 20 game minutes).
  4. One moment... Nostalgic ASAS&SAS.zip There ya go! Don't know why I didn't include it from the start, silly me. The Fairing'ed Light Mk2 looks really good with the new VAB!
  5. Floor 331: Anything you can imagine is here.
  6. I believe the old ASAS module may still be in the game, just copy over the old parts (and perform adequate updates/name changes) and you should have old stabilization! I'll post a zip file if I can get it to work. Edit: It appears as though there were some changes to the old ASAS code, but it behaves similarly to how it originally operated. Here you go, hope it helps! Nostalgic ASAS.zip
  7. The interesting thing is that I first found out about Vocaloids through a PBS Idea Channel video comparing Miku and Lana Del Rey ( ), and my thoughts were "this Miku gal is weird but cool... I MUST HAVE MORE!" and now I can't get enough Vocaloids! And now I'm also considering starting some Animes... You are not alone on this obsession train!
  8. Indeed I was! I see this was one of the first crafts you loaded up as well! New ASAS is crazy good, I flew it all the way across Kerbafrica and the adjacent ocean with no troubles!
  9. My space station is very photogenic with the Real Space Experience mod.
  10. Yep, the .craft file format is universal for Mac, PC, and Linux. Go crazy with transferring those files, and welcome to the forums!
  11. If you're happy with the PSU, go ahead and use it. I won't question your decision if you really trust it. If the CPU works well, use it (same with the PSU).
  12. Exactly what the title says- this thread is for Vocaloids! Discuss, recommend, or inquire about anything related to the software-based music! First off, for those of you who don't know what this mysterious "Vocaloid" is, a Vocaloid is a piece of software that is designed to perform music, most notably vocals (hence the name). However, these songs are most commonly in Japanese, since the Yamaha Corporation, a Japanese company, first developed the software. The very first two voices created and sold were Leon and Lola, but the most well known one AFAIK is Hatsune Miku. Perhaps you've heard of her? Miku isn't the only Vocaloid on the internet. There's a TON of songs created by TONS of different members of the Vocaloid community (based on NicoVideo or NicoNico, as the official site title calls it), each using a different style and different voice to perform this. The music ranges from alternative-sounding tracks like IA's "Imagination Forest" to upbeat, super catchy tunes like "Electric Angel" as performed by Rin and Len Kagamine to trance like (one of my personal favorites) to sad love songs like (this one is in English, and you can tell it's synthesized, but that doesn't mean you can't like it!).The really interesting thing is that these computer-based "people" are given life by their fans! You may see one Vocaloid performing a song, and then find the same song done by a different artist and Vocaloid! There is almost certainly a music video for the song you want to hear (there's also English lyrics, although those are harder to find), and many of them are just plain incredible or downright funny! So please, share the songs you think are the best and worthy of attention! Or, if you're just getting into or considering listening to this awesome yet difficult-to-understand music, ask and you shall receive good Vocaloids! A few that I like (and you might too!): What Vocaloids do you enjoy listening to? Are there any you want to enjoy, but you can't find good music with that voice? Any other questions? Let me and my fellow fans know!
  13. But see, KSP has no official ETAs, so it can't be "delayed," only put out later than some people suspect it might come out. For example, I suspected it might have come out after the marathon this weekend, but it didn't. No problem, it's not like they were going to release it right after the marathon anyway. I do agree though, psyching yourself up for something will only disappoint you more when it doesn't live up to your now-unrealistic expectations. That's why I like the previews they've been putting out- it's new, but it's not so new that people expect ridiculous things and then flip out when they don't get "exactly what I wanted."
  14. I would not recommend getting a fanless PSU unless you've used the model before (which it looks like you have) and/or it has a significantly good review base (at least 100 reviews and 4-4.5 stars is what I like). How much power do you need? If you don't mind getting a non-modular, 430w PSU I'd recommend the Corsair CX430 ($45 versus the $140 of the one you're showing). I'd definitely get a newer motherboard, my build's oldest part is an Asus GeForce 8400GS from 2010. May I recommend the MSI B75MA-P45? It's got two channels (four slots) of DDR3 RAM (which should be easier to find) and is only $65. The processor I'm using with it is the Intel Pentium G2020, which is $62 (all prices are from Amazon). Not a phenomenal machine but it runs KSP well enough for my tastes and should be easier to find support for than the parts you have listed. I can't personally recommend stuff on the AMD side of computing, but if you're ok with doing the switch then I can help you out as best I can.
  15. Floor 322: A sign: Well, that's interesting... Next!
  16. Took my Mun lander and Fairing'ed Heavy combo (that couldn't get to Mun for lack of fuel) and threw in a docking hub. Result? A new space station!
  17. The rockets aren't that small, the smallest manned parts are more than a meter in diameter! Or do you own a museum? o.O Probably try to incorporate him into human society and go on tours around the world, letting people get his autograph and that sort of thing.
  18. 0/10 Never seen you before.
  19. Apparently they fixed the ocean shaders which were causing some lag, so there's that. There's also the new KSC models, which are 1/3 of the polys of the original KSC models, which is a significant improvement.
  20. Just got Monodevelop working, so no progress so far. Apparently the Linux version of MD doesn't even come with the built-in compiler! It was one command to remedy this, but I probably still have some setup to do before I can get anything useful done.
  21. Don't forget Harv from HOCGaming!
  22. Indeed! I recently had an idea for the solar heating bit of the Thermostabilizers plugin- instead of raycasting to the object in question from the sun, I should try raycasting from the object in question TO the sun, heating the part if the raycast hits the sun! I still have to apply this to the code, but I believe the stock solar panels do something similar (along with checking the dot product of the raycast along the detection face's normal and the cast directly to the sun) in order to make sure they're illuminated. Edit: Major Unforseen Issue! I'm not sure whether or not I'll actually be able to grab the references I need to program with MonoDevelop. I'll look up any possible solutions tomorrow, but there is a chance I will be unable to program on Sierra... The real problem here is not being able to see inside the KSP application like I can on OS X plus not remembering how to actually grab .dll files as references... I think I know how to do it but I'll have to see what I can do. Edit 2: Nevermind, got it working. All I had to do was download the OS X version of KSP and investigate the KSP.app folder to find what I needed. Coding shall continue!
  23. I wouldn't update past whatever Squad released as their final act of control. Loyalty till death!
