Added the EDVs (Energy Directing Vanes) and flattened the top of the ring a little more to give more texturing space. Still need to copy over code... Goodness I'm getting busy with all this. -

Same here. I've had a guy at work recommend it to me and now there's references in this story! How can I keep up? One question though, if the Trawler in the Dark is a warship, who exactly are the Kerbals fighting? The aliens who gave them the Frameshift technology? I think you explained it to me in part via Skype, but this is a new twist I haven't foreseen. -
I'd be both happy and upset. Happy because there's a lot of good stuff in the game and there would undoubtedly be future addons that add things that were going to be added, upset because it wouldn't be finished and it would look like the developers gave up and/or died (both of which are bad). However, you'd still see me around on the forums, making mods and posting pictures of my new space stations, and livestreaming gameplay. This is just too good of a game for me to just give up on.

I like the thought that it could be large amounts of blutonium. As the Kerbiverse (Kerbal + Universe) doesn't use the same elements as ours AFAIK it could very well be one, or many, of theirs.

Depends on what you're adding. If you're adding stars (which I think I saw somewhere on this thread... maybe... o.O) then let us know the orbits for those from the start and withhold the planets around those stars. If it's only planets around Kerbol, then let us know those orbits. Feel free to quote stuff on me, I'd rather not have to run through 10 pages of a thread looking for a few words/posts when there's people who know where it is already!

Good, I was hoping I did that bit correctly. All I need now is to get action groups and context menus working... I'll see if I can copy over all my code tomorrow so I can start writing new stuff this week. -

Oh, Mek, did the staging appear to work correctly during the launch? That's the one big issue I can forsee with the current state of the plugin (ignoring action groups, of course). -

This is the concept that Mek sent me when we first worked together: It's been so long since I last viewed it... perhaps I should create a new model that stays truer to this concept; I think it could fit with stock parts a lot better... Yeah, I'm probably not going to carry through with that model. The old one works quite well and seeing the original concept again gives me some awesome ideas... Edit: Here's my start: Still need to do structural pylons and the exhaust vents (if they could even be called that... maybe more like "Energy Flow Directors?") on the bottom for the main details, but I already like it a lot better! It will look so good that nothing will be able to contain its epicness! Honestly I'm not quite sure what I'll do for the radials... If anyone wants to draw up some concept art then go ahead! -

The plan is to include two types of engines- the Frameshift, which is a sublight engine, and a near-instantaneous acceleration Alcubierre Drive (minus all the cool visual effects). Both will apply an even force across their area of influence. For the Frameshift, it is the entire vessel. For the Alcub. Drive, it will be a bubble of set size. Considering a new model for the Frameshift, but I don't think I'll carry through with it... The original model and texture were nice and simple, so I'll probably improve on them a little and then they'll be the FS2 model and texture. -

Until we actually find signs of life (bacterial or otherwise) on Mars, I don't think we have to worry about this or any sort of infection caused by Martian life forms. -

Haha! Success! New computer is totally finished (minus some more RAM, but that can wait until I'm paid) and I have MonoDevelop installed and ready to go! I'll start programming again in a couple of days (I'd like to make sure I have all the issues I can find ironed out and I also have to copy over the plugin files) so there'll probably be an update sometime soon. -
Got a new computer, so not too many overly large files taking up space... But depending on what I need the files for I'll either delete them or zip them up with other useless stuff.

Send a data probe to Laythe, during the daytime all you'd need is a winter coat and possibly some respiratory augmentation (assuming you have a way to survive the radiation).

I occasionally go all stock, and occasionally mods galore! I'm gonna try to play stock only for a while with my new computer. I just got so much more of a rush playing without stuff like Mechjeb! Of course, I have to play with mods once in a while considering I am a mod creator.
