I did some PoC testing last night( I am the official tester aren't I) and I discovered 3 things: 1. The Phoenix can't be 2.5 meters wide as it wouldn't fit in the fairings 2. It's going to require some very finely made fairings 3. I suck at DR. more testing: this time I hyperedited it into orbit to test manuvering and speed. When I activated the nacelles it ripped the ship apart sending it out of kerbins SOI at 7.5 km/s and accelerating. 3third try: its quite heavy so I put some SRB's on the Titan II main stage (4 shuttle SRBs from boss squirrels's mod) it rotated quite a bit and when It got out of hand I decoupled it it decoupled fine and went on its merry way. Reaching a maximum speed of 1100 m/s( 1.1 km/s If you don't want to convert. still need to figure out the weight Distribution and Stabililty problems and il be done.

There's a plugin for that.

I had the same problem on the previous page, use theunarchiver to unzip if you have it.Or if you don't use an unzip command in terminal by writing "unzip" pressing the spacebar dragging the file in(so it can find the location of the file) and space again. It'll either work or throw a huge error.

Yup. I was thinking of resizing the Mk 1 cockpit. to 2.5 meter using the silver tanks and the 2.5 single belled engine. with extensible nacelles (curtesy of IR and ARNE) on top of a standard Titan II. I'll also have to make a Module Generator to cope with the insane fuel usage of the ARNE's (Advanced Radial Nacelle Engine, by kerbtrek).

I'll try to get something that resembles the Phoenix built/uploaded some time this week it'll use IR(the .20 compatible fork of Damned Robotics), FASA gemini for the launder and Body and the Warp nacelle mod for the (you guessed it) warp nacelles. If I don't post it in a week be worried.

Agreed.more probe parts is a must.

The buran manipulator is part of the Robotic Arms pack, I don't know why bobcat doesn't include it but whatever.
