Squad exists, but Squad never was a software company. They're a marketing company with a small internal group of guys and gals who wrote a funky space game more or less as a hobby, a space game that blew up way beyond their wildest expectations.

Sure, same here. What happens is they get given 60 days notice and then kicked out of the building on (hopefully paid) leave to prevent them "sabotaging things". Been there, done that, cost me my total accrued vacation days which technically should have been paid out but weren't.

don't, it's got YEARS to go before it's even remotely worth the price. I've rued every cent I spent on it. still no fix for the game engine thinking Minmus has an atmosphere and causing orbital decay I see.

It gets worse, Ubisoft retrofitted their uplay rubbish into existing games through a sneaky steam update, making them impossible to play without logging in to your uplay account, when that was not required when buying the game. A game I'd never have purchased when that uplay rubbish had been included at the time I bought it.
