totm may 2024 "Great American Eclipse" II: April 8 2024
magnemoe replied to cubinator's topic in Science & Spaceflight
You have one in north Spain the year before, its end just after, not sure the effect of that. The 70's in Africa yes imagine many did not know it was coming and getting an sonic boom on top -
Never bought a game I never played. Tend to put time into looking at them and don't buy many games, latest was Howard legacy who was fun, but its an game who end then you run out of quests, yes you explore stuff and good value for money. But its not KSP or Skyrim.

I bought wet food ins packs of cat meal sized portions. The closed bag or can has no smell, but then you open it, I thought the cat should notice the bags and try to open them, it was just plastic but she never tried.

totm may 2024 "Great American Eclipse" II: April 8 2024

50 years ago some scientists experienced an 74 minutes eclipse. I guess some people in Africa the experienced this believe eclipses to be noisy -
Its an known issue, mothership will still be there, you find it going to tracking station. Docking ports don't have this issue. It also don't happen all the time.

Soil sample extractor
magnemoe replied to Klapaucius's topic in KSP2 Gameplay Questions and Tutorials
The soil sampler has to be put on top of something like an rover or wing and have free movement to the ground putting it on the side of an lander will not work. You can also use some struts to let it stand on the side. Recommend testing lander on launchpad first. -
totm aug 2023 What funny/interesting thing happened in your life today?

How does this happen? Yes i know the redneck grill idea of tipping an shopping cart over, make an bonfire inside it and use the upper side as an grill as grilled on them. But this is an plastic one and it looks like the kid was kind of hot. -
Probably an smarter design if your smart, probably outside the jumping but marsupials don't have our restrictions on the hip and in you have hand you can just move the pup onto an nipple and you have clothing protecting the pooch and kid. And for the ladies no painful births its just like taking an dump. Obviously you would start training your pup earlier than kangaroo pups as they is in an safe environment.

Pretty sure some has done this, Tutankhamen's had an nice light chariot buried with him. Pretty sure other cultures buried horses with important people. And I agree chariots would be easy to counter, bows is the obvious one, no need for warbows just hit the horses with arrows with the bow you use to hunt ducks, it will not die but not be happy and probably go wild this was not war hoses. If they get close poke spears in the wheels. But it was an tool to get into bow range of an good bow launch some arrows and run away, it some of the enemy follow you, you lead them to an trap. If the entire army you tire them out chasing you. Strategy was still in it in infancy,

I always thought the new world started later from hunter gatherers so they started farming later so it was still bronze age civilizations at the end but its probably oversimplification. Probably more to do that they was pretty alone, not all the web of civilizations we had in Eurasia competing and share discoveries And the idea of teams of animals was an good one. Earliest use of horses was chariots simply as horses was donkey sized back then.

Iron making was discovered once as I know, after thousands of year of bronze age. Iron was known Tutankhamen was buried with an iron dagger made from meteoric iron who is mindbogglingly, it was still the bronze age back then. So I guess its hard to discover how to make iron but then discovered it was much cheaper than bronze and also easier to make locally in an large village.

It worked an generation ago then we had people like Schwarzenegger and Eddy Murphy and you knew that you got. Yes Schwarzenegger later did comedy but this was not an rugpull but well known. He wanted to do other stuff than action movies who is fair Pretty sure it don't works as well today as I don't know any modern movie stars. Music and pop culture yes but none from movies. And jumping genres is bad unless an superstar.

I say ships and aircraft's exist as I used them, never used nuclear weapons, and most think that is for the better Yes we simulate stuff to check if it work before building it or see if we can improve them. But we also simulate stuff who don't exist like video games with intricate magic systems. And I assume an simulation would work like an video game, you don't simulate the universe you simulate that you are seeing, who is much much simpler. But we are getting more an more data making it harder and harder to run the simulation as you have to handle more and more data. Yes you could find bugs and they has to be patched up too editing memory. Make me wonder why simulations theory is an thing if true And yes its very close to creationism or the world is 8 minutes old and can not be disproved. And creationists know this so most don't claim the world was loaded with fossils and fossil fuel 6000 years ago who can not be disproved and make little sense. But rather some stuff who make no sense created this fast. Something who https://www.youtube.com/c/gutsickgibbon points out well, it would melt the crust of the earth, who is not that we see

Awwv never played as an beaver before, so on the list. Myself its https://store.steampowered.com/app/233860/Kenshi/ Kenshi is an sandbox squad based game in a hostile open world, it let you build bases who produce everything but you need resources only found at dangerous places. You might even loose limbs and this is recommend for endgame as the robotic ones are better

You use something like an orion pulse nuclear charge, the plasma would generate an push, and the boil off on surface would add more. An standard nuke would also have some of this effect but weaker. Unless you brake I say you come in way too fast to penetrate, tricks like having an sharped charge in front would be pointless as you move faster than the detonation wave of the sharped charge, who also move at your velocity but not the digging of the hole. -
You are correct, its Aldrin Cyclers, and concept make more sense if you anyway has an time delay in process anyway, nuclear decay, wood to dry or aging of vine http://freefall.purrsia.com/ff4100/fc04014.htm That is in the Freefall universe there you have good fusion.

My question is why, unless they are in transit, or are you making an Armstrong cycler? See orbital colonies as an way to launch ships and probes in space. LKO is the obvious one to build stuff who is hard to launch into orbit. Second most useful at Jool because the long travel time and all the various missions you can do there. Then Eve and Duna on a distant 4'th. This will obviously change with resources.

Or just an bored sailor. On battleship new Jersey some joker had marked some no longer used controls as warp drive and shields I see this as likely as its just one missile, and it don't look like its an easy way to select missile to launch. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/M-11_Shtorm I assume missiles are moved forward then pushed up onto the launcher rails, this is not an issue if all missiles are the same.
