Northern round world trip build a jet carrier with 2 rovers on board and drop one rover on the north pole and one on the south and land the jet on or close to the landing strip at ksp you have 35 minutes to build the rover and your aircraft the rovers must be manned .25 or .24.2 preferable you also have 5 tries to build your plane correctly You have my permsiioon to use high alt thursters due to your time slot and you may only use those only also you have to launch the rovers in one trip my tip is gain as high alt first for speed and then go towards the north pole first or south what ever you choose UPDATE* I am trying to say Eject one rover at the north pole keep going until you hit the south pole eject the second rover then bring the jet carrier back to ksp very simple and do able. ive also got a video on how the carier should work just make sure your weight is balanced when you eject or you might just go belly up and crash oh and srry for the chewig souns I was eating supper at the moment when I was recording Good luck
  5. can someone help me with this im trying to make one hell of an engine for aircraft but for some reason it wont work (PM me please) this is what the engine is supposed to look like and when I want it to go faster than 126 thrust it wont go past it? well its also my first time making a mod like this as well the top speed I got from this was 85 m/s from my plane with this engine can somehone help Well Well Good job guys keep up the good work The rules have been updated. you may use a jet engine to recharge your craft battery but the jet engine bust be vertical and must be placed on top of your vehicle and also if you crash I will allow a low alt eject-able glider to get to your position that your vehicle crashed at. ill post a vid of what the ejecat able glider should look like and how you should prepare for it Ok another note that I realized looking thought the comments I saw there were cheats for infinite fuel and rcs and whatever THat will CHANGE immeadatly UPDATE*10/23/14* I have also added a couple of rules to the boats good luck
  9. ok while I was flying on my final stage for my probe satellite I went to my map and decided to warp to my aporapsis. as soon as I hit warp 1000 it warped to warp 1 immediately. the interesting bit was I was above 250,000 km when it decided to do this I was using a probe core. the probe core decided not to rotate or turn or even move forward. when I reverted back to launch stage and launched the probe core stayed put while the rockets were at full blast and the launch clamps released. it was literally floating in midair saying put and the rockets were bouncing up and down making a stage sandwich I would like a professional opinion from one of the mods on here. thanks for your time reading this Lego8_bit mods I used are chatter, poducal wings(something like that where you make custom wings) , and kethane

  14. Hello I'm lego8_bit and I was recently flying very fast around 1900 with a jet plane. Witch I thought of a very difficult challenge. You have to beat the speed of (2200 m/s Stock, 1500 m/s FAR)with a PURE jet.   15. that's interesting challenge using RCS as thrust. hmm i have a dual ion engine design and that flew for a long time until it ran out of xeon gas that i just built but the problem is i now have to redo the fight because i for got what key takes screenshots

  19. oh wow that glitch I've seen that happen to my vehicles so guys if your doing the car leg of the polar challenge DO NOT climb up steep grades of hills wicth will mess you up
  20. ok I have seen some small parts with an alternator you those but do not use jet engines
  21. I will update the rules a bit but I will allow a car to jump but if I see people abusing it I will put a rule against it.
