  1. Ballast parts would be useful, especially for adjusting the CoM on airplanes, where it must be tweaked so much.
  2. 0.22 made the nosecones do things! They're totally non-useless, guys.
  3. There could be a problem with this. For example, if I had a 500km apoapsis and 2km periapsis around Kerbin, and was on the 500km and warped to the next apoapsis, I could just go straight through the supposed aerobraking and survive for several revolutions.
  4. Gravity generators are too unrealistic. I'd far prefer guiderails and maybe some velcro to maneuver about a space station. Moving through parts is planned, so I'd say it's not a stretch to expect docking ports to be transversable.
  5. Ninja'd means that while they were typing their message, someone else already posted the same thing. EDIT: Ironically, I thought someone was going to ninja me on posting what ninja'd means.
  6. I always name my ships just after random words that sound cool or funny. So, here are my flagships: KSS Harbinger KSS Tread-Lightly KSS Spectrum And, of course, Project Sticky-Keys.
  7. More control devices (RCS, reaction wheels), make sure you have adequate power generation for the reaction wheels, and I'd like to warn that even when the CoM and CoT look aligned, in space even a seemingly negligible misalignment can result in spinning at high thrust.
  8. When these consequences are added (money, fame, and such) then some degree of autopilot (prograde, retrograde, node...) might be reasonable.
  9. Both are commonly suggested, and I believe both are on the Do Not Suggest list. Axial tilt definitely is.
  10. Well, a parsec is about 51400000*pi radians of Kerbin's circumference.
  11. This is a really cool challenge. Might I suggest that you change the name of the "Back from where it came" acheivement to "Return to Sender"?
  12. Perhaps there could be some things that you can find that are only found in one part of the planet. It could be randomly generated where they appear, and you could use a device on your ship which, once you were on the ground, displays your distance from the "unknown object". Using this distance you could triangulate the position of the object and bring it home for display in your museum (and perhaps a cash bonus).
  13. Warsoul, I recall that this is the exact same suggestion you posted yesterday, albeit with a bit more detail. You'll remember that that thread was locked.
  14. Perhaps at any time you could view mission control, and see what the kerbals there are doing. Maybe they're all sad about the crash, or frantically running around because some kerbals are stranded, or happy because they just landed on Duna.
  15. Also, having AI pirate ships that attack your ship would be impossible to do well. I mean, they can't know anything about your ship other than tonnage and crew capacity. Maybe they could be made to aim for the pods, but it would still be an incredibly robotic experience.
  16. I have no idea why the public would ever want to see any launches from my space program. After all, there are more astronaut casualties under our belt than there are billions wasted on rockets filled with soon-to-be-casualties. In all seriousness, They probably wouldn't be right up next to the launch pad. Radioactive exhaust, right? And what if I wanted to launch a super-secret-spy-satellite? I wouldn't want crowds there for that. How much of a crowd even shows up for your average, run of the mill satellite launching?
  17. There's only a set point deduction for using Hyperedit? So can I just build a ship that accomplishes everything, hyperedit it to Laythe, and still get a ton of points?
  18. This is planned. Literally, "tweakables" are on the planned features list.
  19. Granted. I duct taped sepratrons to your arms. I wish Ioncross life support was updated for 0.21
  20. It won't be redundant. We still certainly need a hangar and runway to launch our aircraft.
