I noticed that the records seem to be coming purely from guests, while member count stays the same. Squad's advertising (*cough* Pewdiepie *cough*) must be working!
That's what I was thinking too. So many Pol contracts. Wait, I also have Bop contracts! Hmm, what Biomes have letters "bop" in them... (I'm serious this bug probably also effects Bop).
In 1.0.1 drills and the converts no longer generate significant heat. After the update just turn off the drill and let it cool down for a bit, then start it back up and it should never overheat again.
So here is a question to everyone: Does Mach number actually do anything From my observations, there is no change in drag, no change in speed, etc. Same with both planes and rockets.
This is odd, in 1.0.0 I flew my rocket with a flight profile so that it was horizontal by 30 km. Now when I do that all vertical velocity bleeds off and the rocket falls back into the atmosphere (this is using the same exact rocket). Even at 2300 m/s drag in increased significantly.
What I'm worried about is that Squad spent a long time fine tuning the values for 1.0.0, but this 1.0.1 change may have been a rushed and not very well thought out change. Why? Because my planes cant break the sound barrier anymore. I get that 800 m/s is too fast but my plane with a TwR of 3+ can suddenly only go 300.
