  1. And also the fact that they now have reduced ISP in atmosphere, though I''m not sure if Duna's thin atmosphere will really effect it much.
  2. I noticed that the records seem to be coming purely from guests, while member count stays the same. Squad's advertising (*cough* Pewdiepie *cough*) must be working!
  3. That's what I was thinking too. So many Pol contracts. Wait, I also have Bop contracts! Hmm, what Biomes have letters "bop" in them... (I'm serious this bug probably also effects Bop).
  4. In 1.0.1 drills and the converts no longer generate significant heat. After the update just turn off the drill and let it cool down for a bit, then start it back up and it should never overheat again.
  5. I also suffer from this. The intro music keeps surprising me while I'm viewing the forums.
  6. What I don't get is that we never needed another aero change, simply decrease the insane jet thrust at low altitude.
  7. As far as I can tell, stalls are not simulated what-so-ever.
  8. So here is a question to everyone: Does Mach number actually do anything From my observations, there is no change in drag, no change in speed, etc. Same with both planes and rockets.
  9. Wait, maybe the delta-V to orbit has not changed much at all, rather it may be the fact that my 20 ton fairing is no longer massless.
  10. This is odd, in 1.0.0 I flew my rocket with a flight profile so that it was horizontal by 30 km. Now when I do that all vertical velocity bleeds off and the rocket falls back into the atmosphere (this is using the same exact rocket). Even at 2300 m/s drag in increased significantly.
  11. I am more worried about rockets, is a gravity turn starting at 1 km still most efficient?
  12. I would greatly appreciate it if one of the devs could explain what exactly was done to the atmosphere in 1.0.1 and why....
  13. What I'm worried about is that Squad spent a long time fine tuning the values for 1.0.0, but this 1.0.1 change may have been a rushed and not very well thought out change. Why? Because my planes cant break the sound barrier anymore. I get that 800 m/s is too fast but my plane with a TwR of 3+ can suddenly only go 300.
  14. So let me guess, it's most efficient to fly a rocket straight up to 10 km and turn 45 degrees again?

  17. is the patcher working? I get an error about "malformed data from the server."

  19. Mods are not broke, some of them just look for a certain version number, so that see the ".1" and gives are a warning.
  20. Triple scratchpad update! Based on previous updates (including 1.0.0), this means that the devs are done and it is probably ready for release. Hype!
