  2. Moved to KSP Fan Works.
  3. Hey there, Is the part visible on the VAB part list? Take a look through your output log, and see what it says about the swivel engine. See if it's throwing any errors. If you don't know where that log is, you can find it here: Remember, if you feel the need to post the whole log, please upload it to a file hosting service like dropbox, and link it here. But if you only copy and paste a dozen lines or so from the relevant section of the log, it would be okay to post it here.
  4. Build your craft in your career/science mode, save it, and then load it up in a sandbox save. Launch it, cheat it to the start point of whatever mission it is on. For example, If you're building an Eve lander, just cheat it into Eve orbit so you can practice the descent, landing, and ascent. Once you have the bugs worked out, load your modified craft back into your career game, and then build the launcher to get it there. That's the beauty of sandbox, it is your test platform if needed.
  5. They're great with KIS games though, just plug in a hose and you're connected. And yeah, they're so big, and the rovers they support make them even bigger, They're a real pain to get into space sometimes.
  6. That's a slippery slope I don't want Squad to start down...
  7. Absolutely amazing work! I'd love to see some build videos, and of course, since this is KSP, some outtakes and crashes.
  8. No.... just no.. There's a reason the swordfish was mainly used as a torpedo bomber. It is much easier to get into a standoff position, coming straight on to your target, and release a torpedo. To dive bomb, you must first get overhead, then execute an accurate bombing run. The act of getting into that position exposes you to a lot more AA fire than a torpedo run would. Plus, a torpedo is lot more efficient at sinking or disabling a ship than a bomb is.
  9. Without any other changes, I think the RTG's should be left alone. The Kerbals don't have a limited lifetime, so why should their power generation source? Part of the fun for a beginner is that they can sling a pod out into the solar system, and not have to worry about anything dying while they try to figure out how to save it. If we add a half life to the RTG's, then we definitely need to add Life Support to stock. But if we want to implement stock half lifes, then this would be a requirement. As for mass, from the post I made here: So yeah, they're balanced about right for mass, IMO.

  12. Little confused by that Question and answer.... are you only seeing tanks in the R&D screen, or are you also seeing duplicates of the part files in the directory, but only seeing affects in the R&D?
