Well, if you space them properly a 3v3 or even a 4v4 is certainly possible, but mind you my i7 can't handle TOO many parts. (Although it probably could as seen with the T95 tests) Whaddya say, 3 (or 4) vehicles for each team (only turreted and plz dont use ratte) You may set up.

ZEKES I CHALLENGE YOU TO A TANK BATTLE! We need to have a tank battle with our turreted tanks Whaddya say? Since you have the obvious advantage of two missiles in each tank, you can setup first. Also try to keep the tanks out of KSC physics render range to avoid a total lagfest. (My Panthers are 230 Parts but with a 2v2 thats already 1k parts.) We will go down in history as the first to use turreted tanks in combat.

anyone wanna set up a ground battle Im lookin to fight with my tanks
-
pics or it didn't happen
-
I don't know if that is necessarily possible as wheels, tend to be a bit buggy with collision boxes especially when they are on an artificial surface (structural plate) however you can certainly give it a try, but the best bet is to just stick with SAS and rotate with the q and e keys.
-
Yea, but your tanks are huge... Almost as big as the battleships you make IMO. Also the part count... That turreted tank is only 200 parts.
-
That's on a BATTLESHIP This is on a tank, after all, there is only so much room a tank has for its turret ring (and base) Also, why don't you send over teh craft file for that turret and I'll see if I can fit it into something smaller like this: Also here is the turret ring for comparison:

Can u put up a download of the popper missile? I don't want to search through zekes massive laggy battleship to get my hands on one
-
Ay zekes, u mind posting a download for the "popper" missiles? I'm thinking of getting back into the ship business but I need a powerful weapon for armor testing

I've experimented with kraken plasma before... Needless to say, the only feasible design was that of an I-beam warhead of several clipped parts, however problems arose during testing. Occasionally the warhead would set itself off without actually being detonated by the decoupled holding it together causing immense damage to the ship in which it was housed. A more compact version was made with cubic struts, however this shotgun sort of munition was barely capable of damaging wing panels so the whole program was scrapped. If you do try to harness the kraken you must know that in order to really inflict damage you need to steer the missile inside the ship (barrel or missile port) and then detonate it so it will have to do some damage. Go look up ksp maniac's missile tutorial and maybe you will get some ideas.

I used to have the cracked version of ksp, but then I bought it because I was tired of waiting for updates (You might have mods you want to save) I suggest you do a fresh new download of the new version however, I tried to patch 0.25 and it broke the game.

A missile that goes 600m/s is pretty impressive, my 88mm I-beam cannons top out at around 300m/s. I'm curious though, how large is the shell and is the impact tolerance higher or equal to that of structural plating?

If anyone is up for a tank battle, I'll gladly join

Alright well, the computer repair guys f**ked up and didn't get the Vegas File or any of the correct footage out of my computer, so unfortunately I cannot complete that anytime soon... Anyone have any ideas for a Christmas Special video?

Two missiles from a Panther into the Welding Joint of the gun is easily enough to take out the T95. Yes the gun is separated from the craft.
-
Lol, you have to fire the missiles from at least 200m away (otherwise they will never penetrate) I probably could destroy the gun on that tank too, if you gimme a craft file(nvm I seeit nao)
-
Do you think you could make a (functional) M4 sherman comparable in size to my Panther? I really need an opposing tank force besides the shoddy T-34 (mini) light tanks I made almost a year ago.
