SSTO Heavy Cargo Shuttle "Inquisitor"

It can definitely get to orbit with no problem. Any suggestions for improvements? Might update it in the future depending on new parts. -
A huge space shuttle inspired ship. There are a lot of cargo bays to add whatever you want inside. It's capable of landing on the Mun if you're careful to conserve fuel/RCS along the way. This too many long nights to perfect. It consists of almost all RAPIER engines. Had to tweak the build a lot to reduce drag as previously i couldn't get over 10k altitude. Now it works flawlessly. Parts: 288 Engines: About 73...so prepare your computer to turn into an air fryer. Payload: Haven't tested this yet, but given that we can reach the Mun I'd say about 50 tons + would be fine. So all aircraft carriers in the real world are disappointing.. Why? Well they have no hydrofoils! So we've done the Navy a favor and built this fancy design. Spacebar to activate all engines. Build link: https://kspbuilds.com/build/Hydrofoil-Aircraft-Carrier-"The-Leviathan" Fun facts: Parts: 693 (not much but they are mostly big parts). Lots of lag due to water physics? Big splashdown on launch. it can't be tipped surprisingly, trust me I've tried. To 'fly' the aircraft on top. The first decoupler in staging will disconnect it from the ship. The problem? The A10 Warthog will phase through the carrier ship...its obviously imbued with secret technology. Is it controllable? No. Its too big and laggy. 3 different types of jets on the runway and they have missiles, though the staging is weird once you disconnect the jets: Boeing F-15EX Eagle II Fighter Jet Northrop YF23 Black Widow II Stealth Fighter Aa10 Warthog Is this useful in KSP? No, but it looks cool. Perhaps we could make a useful exploration hydrofoil ship. -

Haha it struggles to even get to orbit. Have to activate all engines and it keeps failing. I guess the only point is to test reentry with Dream Chaser -
Made the Dream Chaser Tenacity DC100 XXL Version + a very terrible looking ULA rocket that fails. Tenacity is fun to fly around with. Lots of fuel, though not enough to get to orbit by itself. Part count: 118 Build link: https://kspbuilds.com/build/Dream-Chaser-XXL Tenacity is a little big here so there really aren't any rocket parts big enough to make the proportionate sized ULA rocket. ^Looks terrible right?

Testing with a Colony ship, there is basically no wobble for me. Previously, throttling to 5% would show immediate flex but now 100% throttle shows no flex. Very impressed. -
Thank you, sometimes the station turns into a scrunchie (different parts bounce off each other causing a crazy wobble) so to unscrunch it i use time warping. Then unfortunately we get misaligned parts. It's like battle scars otherwise you're right, it would have been perfectly straight. Hmm I need to count it but probably around 2.6k parts give or take a few.

It's insane, months worth of effort to build. For individual pieces, some took well over 1 week to get them stable on the launchpad. The worst thing is waiting 5-10 minutes for the rocket to load then having it explode on the launchpad. So glad for the next update! The Colony ship was surprisingly easy. Probably less than 10 launches to get to orbit. Docking is almost done

Our Colony ship is now close to Dres Station! Due to wobbliness, I'm having to time warp frequently to stop the wobble. It's insanely difficult to get close, been at it for an entire day... Place your bets, will the docking explode the ships or my computer? Lost count of how many parts I'm guessing 2.5k minimum.

If other parts i.e a fuselage had this effect I think a bunch of us would actively burn our builds to make them look better

Surprisingly the Colony ship reached space. I'm shocked to be honest...Thought this would take another week. Launch: Felt like 3 fps, exploded multiple times and took 5 to 10 minutes to load each time I launched. I started praying to the Kraken. Turns out the fuel lines were messed up and there was an imbalance. Had to pause the game and sort it out mid flight. Ship started to veer 90 degrees by itself, lucky me it's glorious Now I need to refuel it, so working on a refueling ship to bring about 9 of those hydrogen balls to space. Should be fun. p.s The tail part of the ship wags like a dogs tail. It's a happy spaceship.

Ah yes haha forgot the k. 16k is crazy! How did you launch it? Currently takes a few minutes to load the thing then launch is very explosive. Thank you! Haha going to be far less than 3 fps as I need to also run this whilst our Dres Station (1k+ parts) orbits Dres. If it keeps failing ill save it for 0.2! Fingers crossed persistence pays off here

Colony Ship for our Dres Station. Problems with random disconnecting parts and of course...performance. The Kraken likes this one a lot, can't launch it at all. Mass: 20kt Parts: 1618
