  1. I will start testing tomorrow; these all look so fun. A note about my craft (Ostrich VTOL): Fly it at 1/3 thrust or below for hover. I would only advise flying at full thrust if you are to go a long distance, as TWR for the vehicle at full thrust is astronomical.
  2. Or Emperor Caligula who waged war on Poseidon, ordering his men to stab and throw spears at the water?
  3. I vote stay, even if I never use ion power.
  4. 1/10 I think I have seen you... Hi!
  5. Most of these shots are in the editor; I was short on time. Here it is anyway: BRT-C02! Changes made: -Most I-Beams changed to cubic octagonal struts -RCS tank moved slightly downward and backward -Tires now on lighter axles/pylons -More struts -I-Beam behind driver removed -Wings altered to allow lower downforce -Mass reduction .77t -CoM lowered -RTG removed, batteries introduced ...and a few other things, generally to reduce mass. It is not nearly as safe in a crash, though it will still survive nearly everything. Also, an interesting bug:
  6. This, except for the rotational inertia and no kerbal left behind. If I can save the guy in a reasonable amount of time, I'll do it, but otherwise I must leave a Kerbal to die. As for rotation-stopping, I only do it if I have the torque to do it and am too lazy to sit holding the "D" key for eight minutes.
  7. This gave me an idea. [insert evil laugh here] Those photovoltaics are nice and light, but do they work in the dark? You may remember that there was a night race last time. Nice car, anyway. It looks great.
  8. I got Krater on Steam with a friend so we could do coop stuff. It does not work with a trackpad.
  9. Well done again! It looks just like dream chaser. (I suppose that was planned)
  10. BRT-C01 My initial entry, it will probably change a bit by the first race. This will be updated if it does change. EDIT: After experimenting with decreased mass (0.6t less), it appears that increased mass does help traction and thus handling. However, the speed/acceleration benefit from a lighter car seems to outweigh that. EDIT2: Only in Kerbal Space Program could a lighter car be less maneuverable.
  11. Thus far: Slow to accelerate, reasonable top speed (I have not reached it yet, it accelerates VERY slowly), very quick to turn, stable. (I had difficulty rolling it for crash testing) The car accelerates at an acceptable rate with RCS.
  12. I can have a car by Tuesday. Also, Driving in staging mode allows you to use RCS, only you need to use IJKLHN keys. Docking mode may be easier, though, because you can toggle RCS on/off.
  13. Nova, this had better mean there will be pie in the game. EDIT: Oh, why must the rep system be disabled on the Space Lounge?
  14. These look great! I probably will not use them as I prefer stock style, but the textures look like they fit in with KW well. Well done, OP.
  15. 10/10 you, sir/madam, are everywhere.
