  1. I'm not them, but putting anything in any folder other than GameData is a bad idea, if only for the fact that when I copy all my mods from one install to another (or delete mods to troubleshoot a problem or just to delete them) the detritus of a mod that throws data all over the place will annoy at best and break stuff at worst. I'd much rather deal with config changes when updating, then random problems that take hours to troubleshoot even AFTER I've deleted all mods - or so I thought.
  2. My big problem with the movie that just keeps coming back to haunt me is when they were racing straight forward at the big cannon on those salt-flat-kinda-pod-racer type ships, and were totally getting blown to bits so they decided to give up. Everybody gives up except Finn, who somehow then drives in a totally straight line directly at the gun for what appears to be 5 minutes WITHOUT BEING SHOT AT ONE SINGLE TIME. And then, even though he's going at top speed and never let up, Rose - who turned around to go back to base - somehow catches up to him and is able to intercept him at the last second. And the same thing (without the intervening) happened to her sister in the bomber at the start of the movie. It's like the Empire First Order has a blind spot when there's only one of any given ship type left on the battlefield. "Sir. There's only one bomber left. We should probably move on to other things now."
  3. Okay I give up. I don't see any humor in this one, just a question and an answer.
  4. Saw it yesterday. Gave myself 24 to mull it over. Conclusion: I liked it, didn't love it. I had problems with it but there are like 3 movies in the history of movies that I don't have problems with. Star Wars hasn't been ruined, nor was it saved. I'm looking forward to both the Solo movie and episode IX, but don't expect either of those to ruin or save the franchise either. Oh, and Baby Groot is not comparable to those puffin things. He should be compared to BB8.
  5. All 5? What's the 5th one? I know there's one called Agents of Mayhem but didn't think it was in the same universe. 1 is rough. Super light on story but it drops a huge bomb right at the end, that leads into 2. 2 is much better than 1 and has some very serious moments spliced into ridiculous story points. 3 is the best of the trilogy and the most like GTA. 4 is almost a superhero game.
  6. When they stop showing heat effects, which I assume means the payload they're protecting won't have any either. This seems to be somewhere around 60km for my ascents. By then though I'm almost at orbital velocity so sometimes I just carry them up into space.
  7. This is exactly why I and many others don't use the lab. Feels like cheating.
  8. I like to put them near the command module, for similar reasons to why @Starman4308 likes to put them near the center of mass. But really it doesn't matter except on large, spindly, wobbly craft like a space station, that will likely wobble anyway.
  9. It was quite a long time ago, but it is in fact mentioned in the very first post. EDIT hmm maybe not. It's mentioned in a copy paste of the change log which is probably for the pc version.
  10. Also, due to handwavy math reasons, you'll get less transmitted science points.
  11. It should be as simple as attaching the decoupler and fuel tanks, and then turning on cross fed on the decoupler. Fuel priority in the outer tanks should be 10 higher automatically.
  12. A picture of your rocket in this situation would help. I use the fuel overlay quite frequently and for the most part it's been a very helpful tool. If your rocket is behaving badly, the fact that it's not showing fuel flow the way you expect could actually be pointing at the problem.
  13. Science 1 Orbit 1 Mun Flyby 1 Mun Lander 1 Minmus Flyby 1 ...etc Sometimes I break the mold and have "Mun Lander 2" or other numbers, when I have a 2nd or 3rd ship to do the same thing as a previous ship. tl;dr I'm boring.
  14. And if you're wondering why that rocket worked for Scott Manley and it's not working for you, the video you got it from may have been an old one from before the change to aerodynamics. In the deep dark past, you could have massively draggy things at the fronts of your rockets and not affect how they flied.
  15. Oh that's a little less than I was thinking. For this, I'd unlock the 45-point tech nodes and only upgrade Mission Control, the Tracking Station, and the Launchpad. Maybe the Astronaut Complex too but maybe save that for the first cash from contracts. You'll get a decent chunk on that first launch to orbit because you'll break a dozen records or so.
  16. I'd hack in the science and funds to buy what I want, then zero them out to start playing. To skip the early game I'd maybe unlock all the tier-1 (90 and below) tech nodes and buy 1 upgrade for every building.
  17. IMO the only reason to not use an OCTO-2 is you haven't unlocked it yet.
  18. I test all the time. I revert, quicksave/quickload, and restore from a previous save whenever I feel like it. I will alt-f12 put a ship into a specific orbit to test (reverting after) or - once I've gotten "close enough" to lock an orbit somewhere. Recently, I've started alt-f12 rendezvousing with a fuel depot that can get supplies via ISRU once I'm in stable orbit in the same SOI. I also fill that fuel depot with fuel whenever I feel like it. I paid for these Kerbals to fly my space ships, they can darn well do the boring stuff for me so I can actually explore space.
  19. I have the song "Laid" by James in my head. If you know it, you'll know why I'm not linking to the lyrics or a video of it. (If you're curious, I've been watching the Netflix show "Love" and it plays during an important plot point. I'm not sure I could recommend the show but it is good in a chill kind of way)
  20. So I keep paying my ISP but don't use their resources, and this will enact change how exactly?
