  1. Well.... i normally don't watch streams... but..
  2. I don't know.. it depends on the performance... when it performs better then windows then yes, if not then no... At the moment it performs much better than windows (it starts...) I still have some graphical mods which I would like to use and don't get physics lag on a fast machine(smokescreen with insane particle numbers, or engine lightning in general)
  3. erm no... You can reach space relatively easy with rockets... 2-3 rocekt engines straped to some tanks, a few fins, and some seperators... 3,2,1.. Liftoff and a few minutes later you are in space, space planes are the harder things...
  4. This... but not so long.. I have some mission critical mods, but all the eye- and ear-candy can be installed when it is finished.
  5. OutOfMemoryException: Out of memory try starting the ./KSP.x86_64 binary directly from the game directory (if you have a 64 Bit OS installed)
  6. Great Mod but it consumes to much of the magic physics power cant use it with the ton of other mods But it looks great
  7. if you are afraid to mess up your existing operating systems and if you have USB 3.0 ports, buy a external harddrive and install it there, then boot from USB via your BIOS bootscreen.

  14. you mean Rosetta (the probe) choosed the landing place for Philae automaticly? No.. all landing places were choosed manualy. There was a whole group for finding a good site... http://sci.esa.int/rosetta/54468-selecting-a-landing-site-for-rosettas-lander-philae/ Every steering command is being send to rosetta for every change of orbit. You can say Rosetta has a "driver". Thats the Job of the Spacecraft Operations Manager
  15. The interresting thing is that it is referred as Apsis and Periapsis not Apoapsis.. strange... To throw something in the Aluminium discussion... for our german friends: Wer man gegen ein Minimum von Aluminium immun ist, besitzt "Aluminiumminimumimmunität"
  16. Guys... with the rover.. what exactly do you expected? Curiosity makes 5cm per second... that make 3m per minute and 180m per hour... or 4320m per day. Rovers are funnier with kOS. Send a command, wait and see what it does.. but yes.. that's are rovers
  17. Yep I still search for a replacement of the old lazors mod.
