  1. This is...awesome. Where are the other engines, need MOAR! I am playing with the thought of slapping a "Gome nasai!" on my capsules to apologize for all that blewn up Kerbals (engines get hot if you dont touch them gently )

Well i tried for some spins now, but one of my mods seem to break it...no shielding for any parts, modded or stock doesnt matter....arrrw annoying - - - Updated - - - I will restock my install and test it again.^^ - - - Updated - - - Update again: even with a complete stock install nothing happens...
  5. Yeah i did, i slapped them over the CSS install and overwrote all mentioned files.
  6. Thank you for considering it. What are dimensions of the wings compared to stock straight wings? A little bit less of that should be balanced enough me thinks. Do you plan on making straight wings only or is it possible to have arrow like wings too?
  7. Ok, after deinstalling DRE and FAR i admit it flies pretty well now. THe parachute doesnt show up, though. Landing is pretty easy, but its not that easy to predict the right reentry point, i am still underestimating the drag/float profile of this thing...gotta practice then
  8. THe small stock fuel cell eats 15 units per hour for 1,5 ecs/sec. So we come to a fuel consumption if 10/1. 6 units per hour for 0.6 Ecs.
  9. Is it possible to have those 2 winglets on your envelope? Or maybe a vertical one for lateral control? For ideas, maybe look at USI Survivability Pack, the inflating lifeboat has 4 of them. Turboedit: there is no need for control surfaces, just for stability purposes.

  12. Uhm, didnt the guys of KSOS have the same problem? Dunno if they got around it, though. afaik they managed to let one pair work as a independent flap at least.

  15. hmm the envelope is shielded while stowed right? isnt possible to use that for your config? or maybe to add the config of a folding SP? stowed = folded, inflated = open? or make it suntracking, everyone goes ragequitting cuz the whole craft turns towards the sun gnihihi...sorry.
  16. the sun check is on the negative z axis? smells like the bottom of your envelope, am i wrong? if x is length, y is width, that is. maybe should the exposure variable be negative in ur case? i am terribad at understanding how cfgs work...just a hunch. to the propellers: why not let the engine in front swing around to fix its position in line to the other? but fuel in moving parts? thats dangerous! i like it, keep it up:D sorry for grammar or spelling fails, i am writing from my mobile with german dict + too lazy to read correction.

  19. I gave it a spin now, well...it is pretty easy to get into orbit (even a 250km orbit to my EPL Spacedock) to deliver goods. The big backdraw(s) is/are: Deorbiting from that mentioned orbit gives you about 2,5km/s speed in the upper atmosphere, with FAR even accelerating...the frontal gear blows up at about 35-30 km due to overheating, because it seems to be not shielded by the nosecone, and finally without RCS there is no responding of the craft to atmospherical steering attempts.^^ It feels like its dropping down on rails rendering the control surfaces useless...dunno how to solve that, though. But please keep it up, it is imho a really good US SS "replica" with low memory and player skill requirements...except for that brutal landing failures i had.
