I once experienced an earthquake in the middle of the night. It was a 4.4 at the epicenter, but I was probably 200 miles away. Things rattled, and a door kept hitting the door stop. It was very annoying in the middle of the night (like 3:00 AM), and I repeatedly yelled "stop it!" Thinking it was someone of one of our pets.

If you read the opening post to this thread, you will see a spoiler on the bottom that clearly and concisely explains what tekkit is. I put that there right after the post you quoted. In my eyes, that is not a lack of communication at all. The one post you quoted was only one post, and I later corrected myself. EDIT: and I now have edited that post, so now there should be no confusion.

Plus there will be a description in the video description (who knew?) about tekkit, just like any other video, with a link to the tekkit page.

Are you serious? No, the game is not minecraft. The base game is minecraft. If we said "we're recording minecraft" they would expect vanilla minecraft. We are recording tekkit, a large modpack for minecraft that makes it a totally different game. You don't have to pick apart what I say. This was just an announcement that we were recording, it's not like I spent an hour making sure every detail was right. It was just a heads up.

And also all the good blocks aren't banned. They banned the project table. THE PROJECT TABLE! I cannot live without that thing. Also chunk loaders were banned, which means no large lava source for magmatic engines and such. Lots of things banned that we need to have a successful operation.

Well, got some good and bad news. The good news is, we starter recording on a public server, and had issues with chat and banned items, and we are now switching to a private server between us two, so that will all be removed. The bad news is, our first episode is now postponed, as the one we recorded was on the public server, we have no use of it. We will record another episode 1 on our new private server, and hopefully it will be more interesting.

Yes, it does not require another fairing base. It will attach to any (round) object in front of it, providing there is nothing in the way. Works really well for making an apollo lander look smooth until separation.

Landing on anything outside of the Kerbin system pretty much qualifies you as a non-noob. So, congrats on graduating from noob to good player!

^ yeah that's kinda my stance. Automation is more precise than flying by hand, we've known this since (good) automation was a thing. I'd like to see an astronaut do a soyuz launch perfectly and approach and dock to the ISS with no automation at all.

"Technic" is the launcher platform if you were wondering. And yes, modding minecraft is very finnicky. Even with magic mod installer. One time I had 20 mods going and it nearly broke the game. If you wantany more you have to use the technic launcher.

Ok. I've gotten frustrated enough to pop a question here. I already bought my computer, but I need help. On lowest brightness, with all programs closed except for a game (skyrim and KSP mostly) my laptop's battery will drain. while it's plugged in! As you can imagine this makes for a horrible experience. I get maybe 2 hours of battery before I have to shut it down and come back an hour later. It's very frustrating. The PSU is a replacement, but it's the same specs as the original as far as I know. It seems underpowered though. It will keep the battery charged until any CPU goes over 30% for a long time. or if brightness is up. Do I need to buy a new PSU? If so how will I know it's better?

Oh yes, I remember. But now that it isn't the real tekkit, and its now tekkit classic, I kinda feel cheaty playing it. Also, I had a glitch involving powered rail and sticky pistons that created so much EMC at full blast that I could produce a free red matter in under a minute. Thanks though! Tekkit is a modpack for minecraft. We just recorded the video. I did say to expect a few days editing time.

Well, today me and Starwhip recorded our first episode of "Tekkit: Race to Space!: It will be a series where we try to get in to space as fast as we can, going to the moon and beyond hopefully to mars and asteroids. The first episode is a bit boring, but it will get a lot better as we progress. The Episode will go on both of our channels from each one's POV. Expect a few days editing time. Well, start the hype! What would be even sneakier would be to find the location, write it down, log back in our regular profiles, and get all our allies to go on attack with us and totally demolish them.
