  1. That's what I did in my picture of the Moon, with its obvious drawback of not being very high quality.
  2. Wow! That is amazing! May I ask what is in the picture? Also, what is that black speck in the bottom right, next to the tear drop shape? It almost looks like gilly!
  3. This is a thread to discuss various aspects of stargazing. Feel free to ask questions, post pictures of your telescope/pictures taken through the telescope, talk about your telescope/binoculars, anything to do with stargazing. I'll start it off. As of now, I have a cheap 700x60mm Refractor telescope, on a terrible and wobbly tripod mount, with a single 6mm eyepiece lens. Its enough to view the Moon (aside from its glaring brightness) and the other night I was able to see Jupiter and 4 of its Moons. And amazingly enough, after the vibration finally stopped, I was even able to clearly see both dark bands near the equator! This has made me want a better quality telescope for sure! and here is a picture I took through the telescope of some craters on the Moon. I literally held the camera as close to the eyepiece as I could. I think it turned out well. Other great pictures from forum users! kookoo_gr has an amazing setup, and has so many high quality pictures, I'm just going to give a link to his post. This might seem like it goes in the science labs, but since stargazing is a hobby I feel it belongs here.
  4. I love my description XD But I'm confused, on the forum list, i'm 121, minus SQUAD, bob, bill, jeb, and val, I'm 116. But on this list i'm 107. Are their members not included or something? - - - Updated - - - I found the problem. It starts with this: where is Alshain and Norpo? Alshain joined a long time ago, it seems he has been consistently missed. The second problem, and this is a major one, starts at 52: nightingale. as you see, the progression goes: 50, 51, 52, 45, 46, 47.....107. so, 2 users missing, plus a 7 number revert, equals every user after nightingale to be 9 numbers ahead of their actual position. This isn't meant to be rude, just as a helpful heads up to the mistakes.
  5. controlling the kraken by using a kraken drive. Taking a picture.
  6. My local road track would be Bluegrass Motorsports Park, while my local Super Speedway would be Kentucky Speedway I haven't been to either one, but I plan on attending a NASCAR Event soon, and when I finally get my car, take it down to bluegrass and give it a run.
  7. Thats really cool how they added the HUD in there...it almost looks like a video game!
  8. I'm not sure what you said. Misunderstanding things.
  9. wait, look at how many times you wrote "four has four letters." 15 times. 1+5=6. Now look at how many four letter words he wrote. 39. (count them) 9-3=6. Now look at how many words he posted total. 94 (count them) 9*4=36. 36/6=6 There you have it folks, 666!!! mythebusters844, Illuminati confirmed.
  10. Quick question: is there any way to see how much time a user has spent on the forums total ?
  11. Darn, I got excited, but I'm not up there yet. Oh well. Also, I'm 121 on the forum, but if you take out SQUAD, Jeb, Bill, Bob, and val, I'm 116. Wow !
  12. I'm speechless....that picture of jupiter....I need to point my telescope towards it!
  13. Dug out my old el cheapo telescope (no seriously like 30 bucks) and grabbed my sisters rebel SL1 and snapped a decent pic. At first it was quite bright and fuzzy due to fog but thanks to some amateur photo editing I got this: Its the lower right section of the Moon, with some nice craters there. (the curvature towards the top was from the telescope eyepiece)
  14. Here is my response to a similar thread with the same issue. (ignore the parts about joysticks if you don't use them)
  15. Brace yourselves...... brrrroooooooooooffffiiiiiissstttt incoming! I made that for my company, "the FIST" XD
  16. Best games: Skyrim, Forza Horizon 2, Simcity 2000 (the only one I've played XD), and my all time favorite game, Lego Racers 2 Worst games: There are some pretty bad wii and Nintendo DS games out there, I've played many of them.
  17. Wow! nice driving! Saw lots of nailed apexes in there, good job! Also, way to keep your cool with a car spinning out in front of you! When I get my car (not my first car, my first car is a placeholder to get me to work until I can get my real car ) I plan on taking it to the track as much as I can, I really love racing. I'm jealous of you!
  18. One Design is pretty close to one make racing, if I'm not mistaken. Yes, the Mclaren P1 is very impressive.
  19. This is a well known bug. There is a large thread about it somewhere. The way to fix it is this: 1) Delete the Settings.cfg in your KSP_win folder (or steam game location) this will cause the game to generate a new one with default settings 2) load up the game 3) add all the settings you want, including joystick axis 4) exit the game 5) copy the Settings.cfg file and paste it somewhere where you can easily locate it. This way, if your settings start to bug out again, you can just delete the settings.cfg and replace it with the one you copied and saved. (Also, I think the bug starts when you plug/unplug in a joystick mid-session, I would advise to plug the joystick in before starting the game and not unplugging it during the game) Hope this helps!
  20. You provided the logs, nice! I don't know much about this stuff (yet) but hopefully this bump will let someone who does know see this and possibly help you.
  21. Kerbin is hatching! However, I'm not sure what is causing this, but i know someone else has experience this "hatching kerbin" phenomenon. I'll see If I can find out who it was and see if they know what caused it.
  22. Unfortunately you did not provide us with enough information to assess your situation. There are many many many types of crashes in this game, caused by a multitude of different things. Can you give us a better explanation of the crashes? Can you submit a proper bug report with the outputlog.txt file? After that we may be able to get somewhere.
  23. The launch clamps were merely suggesting a sooner gravity turn. Although, I've warped on the pad for encounters and never encountered this bug. Interesting.
  24. -19 (+) You could always join the positives.
  25. I checked my chatterer download so I could see exactly what was included. In the download there is a GameData folder. If you copy this into your KSP_win folder (or if you have steam, in the steam location for the game) it will merge into the existing gamedata folder. OR you can also open the GameData folder in the download, and you will find a folder called "Chatterer" You can copy this folder into the GameData folder, and this will install the mod also. Hope this helps.
