All the big youtubers have been playing this recently and having lots of fun. Makes me wish my internet wasn't laggy.

from the wiki: Mod + W/S/A/D/Q/E Trim pitch/yaw/roll Mod + X Reset trim default Mod key is Alt. Trimming means this: In a spacecraft, Mod+Q will induce a small amount of constant roll to your craft. It will slowly spin faster and faster. There used to be a limit of around two rotations per second, but it is now unlimited,, so it will continue spinning faster and faster. This is why space trim is not advisable. (except if you have asymmetric thrust) As for planes, trim is very useful, mostly the "up/down" trim. Usually a plane will either want to slowly dive or slowly climb. Using the trim, you can make it so the aircraft flies level. They can also be used for controlling super-sensitive craft.

1.0 changed all textures to .dds files. .dds is stock. Not sure about the swirling bands, could you give a screen shot of that?

I would guess Eve's thick atmosphere is preventing the panels from receiving very much solar energy, but I haven't tried an eve landing since 1.0 so I can't confirm. Anyone confirm this?

Without pictures I can't give an exact answer, but I can give a rough guess type of answer. But first, a question. Are you wanting the rocket to look like a rocket, or are crazy contraptions an option?

Yeah, I was kinda wanting to make a big ship with smaller single-purpose ships. The big ship would just be reactors, capacitors, jump drives, and engines. Then I would have fighter ships and salvage ships and such. Fun stuff!

seriously? You mean you stayed up all night building a ship to lose it?? Can't you just buy the blueprint for it when you get enough credits? Does that just "make the ship" for you?

My experience with factories is this: Don't make them, sell raw materials to shops and buy everything I need" If I could place them on a ship maybe they would be useful. Also, that's for mouse movement, not for RMB LMB and MMB

Pfft we already can with out tiny ships But I want to change the mouse controls cause they are backwards to minecraft and as a hardcore minecraft player this makes things VERY difficult.

Server is back up. Me and starwhip have been on designing ships and such, collecting resources and turning them into credits and such. Lots of fun! ( I wish you could change the controls though )

Me and Starwhip messed around on the server you posted for a while, but it seems to have crashed now.

If I die, does my ship respawn with me? I set nav to the farthest planet from a star. If this one causes damage I swear...

Steam worked. Messing around in it. Why do I start losing health when I close in on a planet?? It's so frustrating. I built a ship with cannons and salvage beams and I was wanting to get some raw materials so I could actually do stuff but I can't go anywhere cause planets cause damage.

I downloaded the launcher and clicked update and install. When I exited the game to turn down some graphics, there was no shortcut to the game. Nothing in start menu. Nothing in Program Files. I clicked the launched again and it said it didn't detect an installation...yeah, I'm downloading it off steam now....(also steam says it has a free demo and the game is $9.99)

I just finished the tutorial, I'm gonna mess around in single player for a bit till I get the hang of things. (also how can my framerate be so bad ITS MINECRAFT GRAPHICS

Have you already set up the Faction? So that if I download it now and start it up we can start doing stuff?
