What is MechJeb? From what I understand isn't it some automatic thing?

It's just an idea I had but... There are many of us that don't have the time or understanding to learn all the rocket-science related things. For example, I have a base understanding of orbital physics, but I work a fairly demanding job, and don't have much time to be able to learn and do all the calculations myself. So, I'm suggesting a "Launch Window Calculator and Mission Planner", which will help you build your rocket and plan the mission. For example, you tell it you want to deliver your Stage-0 Payload to a Space Station. It tells you how much Delta- V you need for the rocket, and adjusts it as you build the rocket. Then, when your getting ready to launch, it will tell you a range of the best time to launch to intercept the object. Something that can say "Oh, you need to get X about to a 100km orbit? Well, you need this much Delta-V time or it won't happen".

Thanks everyone! Just did my second fully successful (no damage to either craft) docking, and hope to bring them back to Kerbal safely. For some reason, it seems like I smash into the ground extra hard lately. Even with many parachutes. I just doubled the parachutes I had on my MK II capsule last time to prevent further Kerbal Death... I'll keep reading these tutorials and practicing, and maybe I'll have a space-station soon.

Is there a "written out" tutorial anywhere? No offense to anyone, but I learn about 75,000 times better from reading.

I used those docking tutorials I think...

I'm looking for some docking advice. I have been able to successfully dock ships in orbit, but I'm looking for an easier method of doing it than i currently use. Basically, right now, I get them both into orbit, sync their orbits as close as I can, then dock them. Sometimes, this takes 20 minutes, other times, 2 hours. Is there a good guide or tutorial? I was following the Gemini one from the wiki, but it's a bit out of date...

Introduce him to Scott Manley.

If it bends, it won't break. Large rover wheel placement.

What mode are you using to mine? -
So far, I've been using a calculator and dry-erase board to do my TWR, but I was wondering if it was possible to view the Weight while building, other than on the launch-pad. Even a mod would help. Also, how the bloody hell do I setup a forum signature here? I've gone through all the possible options I can find, and this forum definitely wins the "Most difficult signature setup" award.

How do you guys track weight? Is there a way to view it in the program, or a mod? I've been using a calculator and dry-erase board to calculate my TWR and other things, but it would be nice to be able to see the weight without adding it up myself or having to visit the launchpad (since after about .2 my loadtimes have increased a bit). Any suggestions?
