I figured out that the TAB key switches views between planets and moons. I would often try to focus on Mun and click debris or a rocket instead.

What are you doing with these ports? Lateral connections are usually incredibly strong, but horizontal are fairly weak. And are you using the big, medium, or small ports? If you're using small, forget about it. the medium are iffy, but the big ones you should have no trouble with. One final note: is your ship *perfectly* symmetrical? If it isn't, your CoT (Center of Thrust) is not going to be inline with your CoM (Center of Mass), and the connections will break.

I don't know. But you could make a "collector" craft that is unmanned which is arranged like this: |__| []-[] []-[] \__/ ./.\ with the |__| being a "cup" which you catch the debris, point retrograde, and deorbit.

Yeah, you most likely have an older version. 0.22 is the newest, and has career mode. When you start a new game switch to career instead of sandbox. And hope you enjoy the forums!
