  1. I didnt heed it much notice when the craft-file read [0.15], but it appears you accidently really uploaded the 0.15-version again. Or atleast thats what my KSP is telling me. Ill be waiting eagerly for the 0.16-version
  2. Yes! Great work you did there with the stock-parts. I just realised it yesterday that the 0.15-version wont work anymore
  3. DAYUM! Ive just read about Curiosity a few days ago and thougt it was a concept to come in 6 to 7 years - yesterday the newswoman just said it would be "landing at mars in a few hours". Hit me like a brick to the face. In a positive way.
  4. Lots of mass on the lower end of the rocket ... thats a good Idea actually. Turbojets for the first stage are, too.
  5. Bonus-detail: Anvils shroud-decouplers fit nicely underneath large stock-decouplers. Attaching shroudpieces to the anvil-decoupler then looks like an extension to the stock-decoupler. A reliable way to hide the large stock-engines which would otherwise be completely exposed.
  6. Just rediscovered your pack and im very glad you didnt cancel it. Its looks are just perfect for space- and mun-stations. Keep it up!
  7. To some this might appear to be a redundant question as i guess there are ways widely known - but even though im lurking around since KSP 0.8 or so - I never actually tried launching a station myself until just now. And I failed miserably So - what is your way to go? Do you just add tons of tanks and engines underneath and use hours over hours on balancing them? Or is there a modpack dedicated to that task that I just didnt hear of yet? Or would anyone happen to know a good cheat-pack to do the trick? I actually tried creating myself some cheat-engines for myself - but i never got indefinately burning liquid-engines running yet. They always kept burning out - no Idea what Im doing wrong.
  8. Just letting you know - I downloaded your Rocketpack the other day and its great. The only issue I have is - radial attached parts seem to attach to the tanks inside the white, outter shell. I also cant seem to attach your tanks radially onto each other via radial decouplers - the fueltanks would just clip into eachother which looks ... not so good of course. It works fine with the 1m stock-parts though. Still a good pack. I like building rockets, but when i just want to get a small payload to mun quick without much rocketbuilding, i just make one of your parts. ...oh, you might consider adding bigger 'containers' for larger payloads, too. For those people lifting large Stations and the likes. Salute
  9. Ill keep your words in mind - just got here from the old topic. Jeez. Amazing work he did there.
  10. Haha, i was googling for the same question earlier this day
  11. Still looking for a ready design, then? Try the 'Orbital Jumper' someone posted here. From what ive seen its solely made of C7-parts.
  12. http://www.bildschirmarbeiter.com/video/nordlicht_aus_dem_weltall/ Northern Lights (?) seen from space. Quite impressive. Thougt i might post that here
  13. Nice - i like simple Plane-designs. Ill give it a spin
  14. Thanks - well. Trying to counter the Jets weight with Drag didnt quite work. Ive tried with wings last night, which have more drag than most other parts. I even thougt about attaching a Chute and open it after start, but ... well. Even Jeb called it suicide I put some Wheels on anyways. I wanted to see if I really could land that thing. See for yourself: Large Pics inside: The last one looks like I actually made it - I exploded right after taking this screenshot I also tried to strap a bigger booster inbetween the planes to stabilize flight and have some more distance between Jet and plane. Well. Apparently the whole thing really does fly a lot smoother - but starting is more difficult (Always lost the Carriers Engine) and every third Separation ends with explosions and Fireballs. I think ill keep working on that, though
  15. You tried to land that thing? Well, its not really made for landing - i like soaring fireballs far too much. Also - that skidplate I put there trying to apply some drag to counter the jets pull at start. Its obsolete.
  16. Actually, yeah, I was thinking of a way to extend the jets range. It runs out of fuel too fast for my taste Are there any Cheat-engines aviable for download? Havent seen any... Edit: Heh ... alright, made one myself. Wasnt too hard
  17. Ahoi, I had some fun with C7 Flight-pack today. I tried to make a Jet carried by a Carrier-plane whereby the Jet stays under my control after being separated from the Carrier. Its a little messy in its construction (Booster between planes, different decouplers, starting Jeb-style deluxe etc) but at least it works and I think i might keep improving that thing. Maybe I can strap the Carrierplane on another Carrier Plane...? Anyways - this is Version 0.1 Pictures - be warned, theyre a bit big... Flying the Carrier with the Jet on can be tricky - after separation the Carrier does surprisingly well on its own, though. Often enough I cant even keep up with that thing. Jeb loves starting this thing. The very second the Launchpad shows up on your screen you need to start AND press down. If youre too slow the Carrier will fall over or crash in the ground. Ill try to fix that somehow to make a relaxed start possible, but for now im having fun starting this way Wait till your upside-down plane ascends a little and roll over - be cautions though - if youre to harsh the Carrier might start to tremble... Starting from the Carrier works fine with the Booster inbetween. In previous Versions the Jet carried the Boosters on its back and hat only one Decoupler underneath. That way the Jet kept exploding, though. Pull your Nose up immediatly after releasing the decouplers. Coming back home to fling another Plane Oh - i forgot: Right now youd need C7 Flight-pack, the Tuned SAS\', Siliskos Doughnut-Research & Spacecraftdevelopment to run the Plane. Ill try to reduce the required parts to Vanilla and C7 for easier installation. (I know veterans will hardly bother as you got most of the major addons - Im doing this for newbs like myself )
  18. Plus - almost everone is using Addon-parts. One of the most famous Packs is 'C7s Flight Pack' (Or something in these lines) - it contains lots of wings, fins and a nice body especially for planes.
  19. Huzzah - I can finally contribute ... words ... to this splendid game. I already succeeded with circling the planet ... i failed to recognise the landmass i started from, though, and instead crashed landed my capsule somewhere that might be near the spaceport. I hope. Eh... WELL! Anyways ... Let the Hand-shaking begin!
