You should check out http://kerbal.curseforge.com/ksp-mods/220335-astronomers-visual-pack for stock, it's got that.
I have already checked it out, but I want the flare that's in this pack, it's so pretty *.*

That's what I always struggle with, coming up with a story. As for filming tips, keep your recordings at high fps, lag always, atleast for me, snaps me out of the experience.
