  1. Jeb made two sub-orbital spaceflights with Bob and Bill to explore different locations on the Kerbin. After long 2-hour work day Jeb decided to relax by collecting some parts around the runway and borrowed 450 units fuel from Bob's environmentally friend car. Plane took off and gained quickly altitude. Flight included small attitude corrections and controlling throttle for 100 % at altitude 25 km to 50 % at 28 km and Jeb just smiled in glowing sauna about over half a hour. Completing trip around Kerbin it was time to find runway without any approaching lighting system help. It found but Jeb was far away from runway aligment. Another problem was controllability; for some reason plane took very slowly every turn (* so landing had to make with wide turnings around KSC. And, of course, fuel was running out. No problem, said Jeb, cool down, gear down, plane down. And what Jeb does, Jeb does and plane landed on runway 27. End of this-was-not-mission. *) Reason for slow controls found by checking roll, pitch and yaw indicators afterwards... Please don't tell Jeb.
  2. Yet no answer but have to mention that every 6000 meters something really happens. I was flying spaceplanes directly to up using physics timewarp (2x, 3x, 4x) I noticed when my plane passed 6 km steps, there was some random smoke near me and the camera swung once little bit.
  3. Once tested reloading quicksave which brought me back to low altitude sub-orbit over Mun. So I did not check things and soon I found myself at about 10 meters above surface hovering, keeping velocity vector on navball pointing straight up/down and surface still was moving roughly fast to the east. Of cource after using precious real life time units wondering I spotted "Orbit" on navball. Not sure how quicksave affects but have to test someday will it prevent navball mode change or restore wrong one...
  4. Kerbin will be contaminated with politicians' promises.
  5. Not playing right now but if I remember right [Ã…] and [^] should work. I don't look keyboard when typing (or playing) but those keys feels right.
  6. Yep. Few training launches to check what kind of turn works better than other. And testing using seats instead of pods. Less fuel is also enough. You can optimize everything with time and tests. Loading kerbals Fasten your seatbelts Bye bye command pods Orbiting (I was 1-2 seconds too slow) "how to we get back down?" – "dunno, we are teh kerbals. we go up and forward"
  7. It's already 7:00 at morning here. Forgot to sleep but here some quickly tried two-stage pipe.. thing.. you know, those things which makes lots of noise, flames and smoke. (Forgot F1 right before launch but there was only three launch clamps holding this.. thing...) 2:56 sounds good nerd time. Right after launch Suddenly there was an orbit Quick capture, camera began automatic rotation away from Kerbin Hopely I did understand rules in this challenge. aftermath: Of course after shutting down KSP, brain starts planning other designs. Like three command seats around and one light remote control unit. And ladders onto launching clamps.. and all kind of things.
  8. Dual-monitor support you say?... How about one hundred little displays http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Optimus_keyboard
  9. I did some research (of course using google and selecting first results...): Almost same reported elsewhere (no solution?): http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/threads/47233-Plane-Camera-Bug Here someone says that quicksave and reload fixes it: http://www.reddit.com/r/KerbalSpaceProgram/comments/1f7xfw/camera_bug/ CleverBobCat.dll mentioned here: http://steamcommunity.com/app/220200/discussions/0/828936718643944476/ I tried search words like "kerbal camera bug" or like. Not checked dates or version numbers. Maybe clean re-installation helps?
  10. Well.. Maybe your game still counts exhausted gases, but not dropped stages, as part of mass when calculating CoM Hard to say without seeing source code. Maybe some bit decided to be something else during installation or like. Does this happen if you fire your rocket but don't let it leave launching clamps?
  11. There might be answer for you. It's difficult to set maneuver nodes if there is multiple APs/PEs at same point. For some reason game gives priority to show distant future information first, hiding what will happen on next fly by...
  12. One version of multiplayer gaming: Craft that escapes Kerbol planetary system will disappear and spawns in another random player's game, coming from outer space.
  13. Chuck has little bit more jokes made about him. Jeb can send massive spacecraft out of planetary system just by touching its landing leg...
  14. At 2:30 did you use the most annoying action effect in the world; camera shaking?
  15. Zak McKracken and the Alien Mindbenders (tried over 20 years ago, completed lately with small help from Internetz)
