What are you doing in KSP right now?
One-Way Films replied to Clockwork13's topic in KSP1 Discussion
I've got a few things going on right now. A) I sent a probe out to flyby Moho and made a course correction recently. It'll arrive in 9 days. I just sent a probe to explore Duna. It has a bunch of science equipment on it and it should contribute to the development of a Space Station in LKO and a Mun Base in the long run. C) I'll be sending a probe to Eeloo in 8 days. D) I've designed a few Minmus Landing vessels that will mark a spot for a mining base. -
I'm not qualified to join, but I wish everyone else the best of luck!

Have you ever had a situation so dire that you had to leave a kerbal behind? Did you have to crash the asteroid into the ocean under manual control in order to save KSC from an asteroid disaster? Share your stories here and may my condolences be passed on to the families of the kerbals/ships/missions involved. Allow me to start... This mission failed due to a stupid design flaw that I didn't discover until I couldn't revert to VAB. I had landed on the Mun for the first time in a career mode save when I realized that there was only room for one Kerbal in the return vessel. I went with the apollo approach when it came to landing on the Mun: 2 vessels (and orbiter and a lander). I could have conducted a rescue mission if I hadn't been a cheap b@st#rd and gave the lander just enough DeltaV to rendevous with the orbiter and then head home... but the orbiter had only 1 space, and the lander had only one space. I sent 2 kerbals (as planned) but could only bring one home and leave the other to crash back on the mun since the lander was on a sub-orbital trajectory. The Kerbals involved were Jeb and Val. This was my first time landing the duo on the Mun, so Jeb "volunteered" since he had a good life and he actually landed on the Mun many times before in previous lives. Valentina would make it home after her first time on the Mun on my PC, but at a large cost. I've felt guilty for Jeb since.

What is next platform, that KSP will be ported to?
One-Way Films replied to PatPL's topic in KSP1 Discussion
I want KSP ported to whatever OS is on the ISS computers. Think about it for a while... Astronaut 1: "OH S#!T! WE'RE FALLING INTO THE ATMOSPHERE!!" ISS Commander: "EVERYONE! SCRAMBLE TO THE SOYUZ!" Astronaut 1: "Why, Commander?" ISS Commander: "You said we're falling into Earths' Atmosphere, did you not?" Astronaut 1: "Nonononono. Sorry. Correction; Jeb is falling into Kerbins atmosphere." *ISS Commander throws the laptop out the airlock* ISS Commander: "DON'T SCARE ME LIKE THAT AGAIN, BOB!" -
I would have to agree. Not that this layout is bad or anything, but knowing what everyone did as an individual is much handier. If this is easier to write, keep it this way. You guys are the developers and you have the final say in things.

Am I the only one who can't run a single game at more than 1270x768p while running at 2FPS? Nevermind, I'm going back to Win7. I'll try again later.

my resolution is locked to 1024x768. Any idea how I can fix it and return to 1080p? I've updated my Nvidia drivers and restarted a few times now

And here I am struggling to do a normal Grand tour...

I thought the game was broken when my rockets didn't work. I stopped playing after the "Great Rage Quit" of 2013, where I boycotted the game for being broken for 2 months. I calmed down and set myself a few goals after those 2 months. Goal 1) get to orbit Goal 2) dock with something Goal 3) land on the Mun and bring the kerbal back alive. After roughly 4 months, all my goals were achieved (badly). I've been a massive fan since.

*claps* That's so accurate. Jeb's been on the Mun for 200+ days in my career mode. He sneaked into the first Mun-Base Module that was supposed to be unmanned. I sent another kerbal out so he has someone to talk to, but otherwise I'm not sending anything else to the Mun Base in progress until I unlock bigger rover wheels.

Circles ftw. Here's my old logo for One-Way Gaming: Notice the similarity?

BillyBobgas Kerman, and his brother BobbyBillgas Kerman. I had 2 kerbals in the same ship with those names. They come back around for me though.
