I want to have a more or less "final" version before to shrink the textures. But if you had enough skills you can try to do DIY with photoshop and the nvidia plugin. I'm working in an improved skybox, based in my own 24k version from 2013 tycho star map by NASA. And remember that you are using an unfinished version. (pre-release)

Ajajahaha... Sorlon is just finished in the graphical side. All the rest is basically a "placeholder". Did you read the description about it? Lol. Humbly, I don't have enough knowledge about physics and astronomical objects to complete the data properly, so all your ideas are more than welcome. Including orbit, position, composition and so on... I was expecting this could be the first achievement of "Laika Sir Common Enterprises"...

I've done that twice. Fortunately Thomas P. & co. have released a new Kopernicus and Kittopia Tech versions, which should be a great help to find my errors and to fix and enhance other things.

I don't understand very well the issue (as far as I understand this is more related to KSP itself than to Kopernicus, right?). Precisely to avoid problems with "external" objects all I'm using are vanilla elements (but revamped and reconfigured). And seems like all them have colliders. In fact I had the colliders working at Kerbin some time ago, but since a time (I can't tell exactly when) all are vanished. In any case: many, many thanks for you priceless help!

Current configs are not compatible with older Kopernicus versions. The terrain shaders and other things are not the same.

Some people report no problems with Kopernicus, but huge fps drops with EVE particles. Others like you seem to have problems with terrains (main use for Kopernicus). Clues like the absence of collisions with the terrain scatters in Kerbin made me to think that all this is my fault somewhere in my EVE/Kopernicus configs. Maybe in both. I'm literally working hard on this, since weeks. My brain is dry with this issues... hard for me to review more the configs or try new tricks. Anyways I'm still working and doing improvements, and once I find the problem I think that the performance could increase dramatically, not just due to all this...

I wish to knew... I'm reviewing my configs constantly during a time, trying to find if it's my fault. PD: For me are working almos everywhere except for Kerbin.

I just like this color scheme of Venus in UV: Was trying to achieve something similar... Still working on it. But I'm pretty open to suggestions for colors. Specially if they are coherent with game/wiki data: http://wiki.kerbalspaceprogram.com/wiki/Eve I think is a pretty interesting question: taking on count all this... has someone a scientific approach about which should be Eve's clouds color scheme?

Thanks @Waz that is gold data! I'm doing my best to find what is causing the fps slowdown. And -as only you know, for the moment ;)- I'm waiting for the stable EVE version with your changes to the mainline, to do my clouds overhaul. I think it will be a huge step forward in many ways!

You are probably trying to play in 32bit mode. Try with 64bit instead.

You are using an impressive but quite unusual resolution. I assume you have 3 monitors, so you must go to the folder ...GameData/scatterer/sunflare/ and then open "sunflare.cfg". Find this: //Ghost1.png ghost1SettingsList1 { Item = 0.24,0.5,1,1 } Then change it to this: //Ghost1.png ghost1SettingsList1 { Item = 0.24,0.166,1,1 } Notice that the only value you are changing is the second one, form 0.5 to 0.166. That is the aspect ratio for the scratched texture. You will change it from 16.9 (single screen) to your config (16:9 x 3). I think that it should do the trick, but I don't know how it gonna look after the change. Good luck!

Thanks to @Gaiiden (roger all that) and @drswagboss: great pics there!! About the rest: would be much more useful if you tell me your specs and info about your problems (with debug info or even your logs if possible) than if you flood the thread with messages about how you cut or mix the mod. Deleting things randomly and make me to read about how you do it don't helps me in any way. As example: for me Eve planet works pretty fine with four layers filled with volumetrics, while Kerbin have FPS drops with just 3 layers. So is not so simple as to delete one thing or another. But, in any case, you could do all this in another thread, in "Add-on Discussions". Imho It'd be much more polite and you could giive us "room" here for the relevant info.

It's an effect included in the sun flare. Barely noticeable, almost exclusively when you look directly to the sun from space.

[1.1.2][1-1-2] May 13-2016 EnvironmentalVisualEnhancements
Proot replied to rbray89's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
@rbray89 and @Waz... I must confess this: I'm in love with the UVnoise feature. Literally in love. I just have a little request, if possible: could we have an option to relate the noise animation with the wap time? Is just the last step to be able to do this. -
A pre-release version for KSP 1.1.2 is available some pages ago. I'll post a new update soon.

Seems like you are right... I didn't know that. And I must say: it's pretty frustrating, because I've denied to derivatives of my work in the past to many people, most of them very kind and polite (at least asked me about it). The info in spacedock for the "mod" is: "Graphics Enhancements Assembly V2.2. By Dmytro Nadiezhdin and Artem Plakhov" The "funny" fact that the "mod" is just a merge of @Ven's Stock Part Revamp and a "frankenstein" with KSPRC and other visual mods, but with zero references and zero mention to Ven, me or none else as original authors... the plug-in creators (@rbray89 for Environmental Visual Enhancements and @shaw for Texture Replacer) are not mentioned neither, but at least their license files are in the respective folders. I thought the licenses over here were pretty easy to recognise and follow: - Ven's work is licensed as CC-BY, so at least to redistribute his work is MANDATORY to mention him like original author and to provide a link to the original. It's so hard to follow? - KSPRC is licensed as CC-BY-ND (ND for no derivatives, precisely to avoid this type of situations), so if you want to redistribute it YOU CAN'T CHANGE ANYTHING and is MANDATORY to recognise me like the original author and to provide a link to the original. It's so hard to follow? So, please @Dimon, if you are involved with that... please, follow the minimun rules... and let's remain as the gentlemen I'm sure we are...

The regular version works in 1.1.2, but I'm still experiencing an old bug (over more than a year?): the light over the planets (in ScaledSpace and in map view) is changing in loop, from the desired look to a more cold and overexposed light. (This seems to not happen at PQS scales) It's hard to show in a capture, but is completely noticeable during a warp time in the map view. Before was a barely noticeable change, but now that Scatterer and EVE are more "advanced" this issue can literally change the color and light of a whole planet (specially if this planet have atmosphere), ruining the atmosphere and the consistency of the scene in the space. All this seems to not happen in the experimental version, but I'm not using the exp.ver. anymore, since it has a more impact in the performance and it's not compatible with 1.1.2. I'm in love with this mod, I hope you can fix this and keep it alive. Thanks for all @Valerian!

Sorry, I don't want to bother anyone, but there is pages and pages of people talking nonsense about this pack... about what MM config in the KSPRC folder are you talking?? the current version is not even using reflections and it's disabled by default! the reflection module in Texture Replacer is not available since 1.0.1!
