Hey I updated your mod to version 1.3!

* Added small dust particles coming out of Sisyphus like real life comets (they don't look so cool tho).

* Improved some textures to make them high qouality.

Keep in mind that the comet particles change direction with orbit of Sisyphus (they will always poind away from Sun).

I managed to do that by implementing a "phantom body" that you can't land on it, you can't see it's orbit (it's very close to Sisyphus's but still more that 90000 kilometers appart) and has a black texture. The planetary particles module needed a body to point to and I made so they allways point at the phantom body that orbits the same way as Sisyphus. Here's some screenshots of the particles:

Thanks! I didn't want to make them to manyy because it could make landing hart to see. Also, I don't quite know how to make them dimmer but I surely can tweak size, color and how fast they go. Unforcenately I don't know how to make them intensify when planet close to Sun...

Augustus, since I installed your mod, Custom Asteroids has not been working. No asteroids spawn, anywhere.

EDIT: I looked in the loading log (or whatever you call it) and found nothing with errors around custom asteroids. What am I doing wrong?

EDIT: I tried turning customspawner off, and only 4 asteroids spawned, total. the first and fourth ones I couldn't track, and the second was outer thing from your config, third was main belt asteroid. This took course over 2 1/2 kerbal years at max timewarp

ANOTHER EDIT: I'm gonna try to reinstall it with your config and the other OPM config.

EDIT: reinstalled it, timewarped 265 days, still not a single rock.

I don't know what could be wrong either! Is it possible it's a memory thing? I have 40 some mods, but it only started doing this when I installed yours.

EDIT: I also removed the trans-jool config that it comes with. could that have done something? I wouldn't think it could.

DOUBLE EDIT: I also, before this, updated OPM, and merged the custom asteroids configs, but nothing else. Could that have done something?

TRIPLE EDIT: what version did you develop it on? could it be a version issue?

Just removed a nice little pile of off-topic and argumentative posts. People, if you have problems with each other, please send (polite) PMs rather than post the stuff here in the thread and make everyone else click through it while looking for discussion of the mod.

Installed Custom Asteroids and yep - very buggy for me:

* NOTE: KSP 64bit on Linux so I have a ton of mods... including DarkMultiplayer so my game often has visits from friends (the above asteroids spawned in the space of about 30 mins or so).

So in relation to the above pic, I look forward to seeing what other outer bodies will be added to the Outer Bodies Plus pack as my asteroids seemingly want to match the number found in our own real solar system... lol :)

LOL, I think the Kerbals need to relocate to another solar system on your game...

Cool! Anyway, my effort is now concentrating more on Kerbol+ than this. I may still experiment with better matching of height maps and normals to colormaps. Also, a question: do I need a normal map?

Also, is the new moon oblate? Does it have lava oceans that kill you when land in them? Or fluff? Or HUGE mountains extending beyond the atmosphere?

Look at the thread. Also for the next OuterPlanetsPlus update, I'm adding more featureless cloned moons for Plock!

Hodor (Styx analog)

Nyia (Nix analog)

Circe (Kerberos analog)

Ledra (Hydra analog)

This mod is fantastic, thank you! But I've a problem: when I install it, Sarnus loose its rings. Does someone have the same issue? I'm on Mac OS X.6.9 (64 bits).

There's discussion in the OPM thread about a similar thing. I lose the Sarnus rings, and Ovock goes back to round when I try and use a desktop icon to launch the game. But if I launch the game by double clicking the executable from a window manager, all is well. It was said that maybe Kittopia has some enviroment variable issues, so I'm not sure if it's a OPM or OP+ issue at all.

BTW, that happens to me in Linux....
