Hey There, I Tend To Make a Lot of Stations and Orbital Platforms but making them is a bit of a chore for me. I Was Never Really Good at Docking since the Control Scheme is To Complicated and Hard to Remember. Is There a Mod To Convert All Docking Control to something similar to EVA Control? If you click the indicator in the bottom-left corner of the screen, you switch to 'docking mode', and it works practically identical to EVA.

In an ironic twist, they're removing "docking mode" and replacing it with "alternate controls" in 1.0. I believe the default "alternate controls" will match those of docking mode, and even if it doesn't they've specifically said you can set what key does what in all situations. But just be aware that it'll change next version.

What exactly is the difference between docking and normal mode? I never did figure out what separates them apart.

The only real difference is how Kerbals orient themselves to the plane of the camera, while docking mode is absolute in space
