Actually, i integrated the term ´ker(-)ballistic´ into my vocabulary. It describes crazy actions, usually with a lot of kinetic energy involved. Bungie-jumping, for example, is ´kerbalistic´ to me.

I first found out about KSP through an old school-buddy of mine who opened with:

made me chuckle. and there really is a gender disparity not only in the KSP user-base, but in gaming in general. though that has been changing, especially since this was originally posted in January of '12.

Do moderators have access to these forum stats Harv mentioned? I would be interested to know if the guy/girl ratio has improved. PM me if you know, or if you can, not sure if those stats are secret.

We don't have access to that data, or at least we mere green-named moderators don't. AFAIK there's not even a field to enter your gender in the user profile, and even if there was the data from it would be highly suspect (you would be shocked at how many of our forum users were apparently born in 1901, for example). Maybe the old forum software kept different data, and that is what HarvesteR was referring to.
