(apologies to mods for posting in general but i think this is more general related in nature)

should be the new Infernal robotics 2.0 if you havent seen the video yet this is what KSP game play should look like as a builder of things (excluding realism, utility stuff) the quality of this mod is def release worthy

I think we have had enough mods as stock.

How about one more - KER?

I can accept the reasoning for fun over perfectionism in creative, but with career mode and funds and the ability to lose the game, DV readout is absolutely essential.

yeah, and also for some people (me for example) fun lays in perfectionism =)

Stock is nice but it takes away a lot from the mod dev. Instead of having your own schedule for updates additions your now stuck on the game updates timeline.

and? mods aren't guaranteed to work and they usually end up become unusable with each update, there is nothing wrong with the game having stock parts that people can either keep or replace with mods

Assuming that any mod implemented as stock would be poorer than it was originaly, I want to see any/all enviroment enchansment mods.

Kerbal Engineer Redux is essential, I agree. At least a minimal version that would show you your TWR and delta v. Also inclination of your orbit.

That's what basics of rocketry is all about. I'd never include MechJeb into the game. People, learn to fly your rockets. It's not hard and the learning process is what makes this game fun.

I agree, only mod that should become stock now is Load on Demand. Nearly everything else should just be left to be done by mods, as then people that don't want that mod or want to save on RAM can just not install them. Plus half these stock implementations of mods seem to be worse than the original mod...

KAS or mechjeb would be good in the stock game.

I believe mechjeb was essentially ruled out of becoming stock when the devs stated that there would be no automated pilot ever (don't ask for a source, it was a long time ago).

The problem with a thread like this is that everyone has their own opinion on what should be made stock, and you'll never get consensus. My opinion is the mod that gives you clouds should become stock, and KAC (mainly for the transfer windows).

IR is nice, but as far a necessary, not really. KER or KAS add much more fundamental functions, KER more so probably. Especially if you consider it from the point of what mod do you rely on the most? Clearly the one that provides you with the information needed to get everything else to where it needs to be.

You can never have to much extra stuff :)

Everyone has their own definition of fun. You can't tell people what's fun for them.

How has nobody mentioned Kerbal Alarm Clock yet? Even in a much simpler format, without all the bells and whistles, KAC is probably the most vital mod I use. Not required, no, but it allows you to have more than a handful of missions at a given time. Throw some of it's functionality into a Tracking Station upgrade, it makes perfect sense.

As there is a recent, open discussion thread regarding stock robotics parts, thread closed. It's a good idea, so let's keep the discussion about these parts to one thread so there's less repetition and confusion.

There have also been a fair number of general suggestion threads for integrating mods, but the developers' position has been that it's not as easy as it sounds.
