KSP 1.0.3 - ETA ? (waiting for it, cause mods^^)

They won't loose most of the players. The majority here play the game since before 1.0. They are used to all kinds of bugs.

I'm not sure about that. I think there's quite a few of us that still play the older versions. I've played 1.x for a few hours, but I don't see any compelling reason to upgrade until it's had some more work put into it. Particularly, balancing and tuning the new physics. They're so poorly implemented as to be counterintuitive at the moment.

They should fix the game before boxed edition, fixing website, fix the damn game, before you loose players.

I should point out that the boxed edition just comes with a steam key not a disk, so they're in no rush to have a finished product before that ships.

How long does testing 1.0.3 take.its been a month since max said might drop that friday.now all you hear is testing.are they holding it for unity 5? Let's us test with you sure would speed up process which seems is at a crawl.

My guess is that they've been working on a few stubborn bug fixes.

With something as complicated as KSP, I suspect that some bugs are hard to fix without introducing a few new bugs, so they've probably gone deeper down a rabbit hole than they expected. :)

I'll agree that despite the hype, 1.0.0-1.0.1 had some bugs. Out of all of em, only two maybe three have affected 100% of users. So in order to rectify this Squad has had to triage the bugs. The worst offender, the memory leak, does have a mostly fix already out thanks to the modding community, so you can just download CKAN or go to the forums and fix it (for the most part).

As for the rest of the game breaking bugs people are finding, they are so far outside of normal gameplay for most players, that they never see em. So Its not an immediate concern for the Devs. Not to say they aren't fixing them, they are, its just now there isnt a bug crashing the game five minutes(if you've download the community fix).

Here we run into business issues. Now they have Sony breathing down their necks. The Unity 5 swap is going but going slow. They got players complaining about bugs. Bug fixing staff is short, because 3/4 of the office os neck deep in Unity 5 code, while the other 1/4 is trying to untangle the mess from before. And at this point its going to be a more sound plan to just release all the bug fixes with the U5 patch. Probably sometime near the PS4 release.

PS4 release in 2016.hope not.the ps4 is going to screw up all pc updates etc.anybody who says no is dreaming.it's already started.now pushing 1.0.3 shouldn't have to rely on mods squad should fix.
