Can't plan maneuvers

On a ship that I 10 seconds ago did place and modify a maneuver node, I no longer can. I know I could hit "space center" and then go to the tracking station and go back to it, but this removes my option of hitting "Revert flight" which I prefer to retain.

Is there any workaround that doesn't limit my options? Is there an unofficial patch mod that fixes this? Because this isn't just annoying, this is at times a game breaking bug :/

If it is the same problem as the bug from back in beta, back to space center is the only fix.

Use quicksaves instead of revert. It's better to revert back to just before you crash than all the way back to the start anyway

It's not ideal, but if you can click -anywhere- on your flight path (usually it's just a specific area I can't click on - usually precisely where I need to click) you can place a node there, then click on the white inner circle of the node and drag it where you want it to be.

Actually I couldn't even do that. I couldn't even click on other ships and select them as targets.

I get this a lot but I hate jumping through those bug-reporting hoops. I've no idea how to reproduce it either.
