No MK-1 memorial?

Bill has just driven all around KSK on a rover - he couldn't find a MK-1 memorial, is it no more in the game?

Also, there was a flagpole biome if I'm not mistaken - I didn't find it.

If i remember corectly i got flag biome only by touching the pole with my sciencemobile

The Mk1 memorial is still there, I just checked.

Is it possible that it only shows up if you've upgraded the VAB? Not sure if it's part of the level-specific VAB model.

The pod memorial doesn't appear until the VAB is fully upgraded.

The wiki's biome list lists all of the special sub-biomes at KSC. I've confirmed that they are all present in 1.0.2, but the per-structure sub-biomes are not all there until the related building is fully upgraded. Your science rover needs to be touching the structure for the per-structure sub-biomes (drive gently into it, keep driving forward to keep it touching, click brake on, then collect results).
