Kerbal height?

Forum goers all,

I was pondering the height of Kerbals yesterday (perhaps after spending far to much time playing KSP) and I was imagining them to be about the height of a 8- or 10-year old (.64 of the height of a adult human, perhaps?) and I realized that I had no basis for that assumption.

So, the question I ask you is, how tall do you think Kerbals are?

Back in May 2013, I empirically determined that a Kerbal is around 0.8~0.9 metres tall.

Who makes sense, they are higher than the diameter of an oscar tank but smaller than the 1.25 meter stuff.

At 200 metres, Bob Kerman (with helmet) has an angular size of 4.6 milliradians:

This means Bob, with his helmet on, is around 0.92 metres tall.

Without his helmet, he has an angular size of 4.1 milliradians, which equates to around 0.82 metres tall.
